Elena pov

I sit there frozen in my spot and everything goes in slow motion. I have stopped breathing by now!

The driver opens both doors before I see him get up from his seat.

He stands up and looks out the window before I hear voices and he is talking to them, I know it's only a matter of seconds before they are coming on board the bus and will find me here!

Looking at the open door to my right I see an opportunity to make a run for it.

The forest is right there! I would probably not make it over before they have captured me but that's the only option I've got left. It's still dark outside and maybe with the help of the darkness, I can hide somewhere.

I can't just sit there and wait for them to find me and drag me out off the bus.

I already guess what kind of treatment I will receive once they have captured me.
