His Forbidden Desire

Five years ago Ryan left his hometown,California, to London because he wanted to forget someone or maybe stop his feelings for someone. The feelings that grew in his heart seven years ago, forbidden feelings to be precise. 

It was eighteen years ago that his father remarried after his mother's death. The new wife of his father has a baby girl called Amira. She was two years old when her mother got married to Ryan's father. Ryan was twelve; as a teenager he hated the fact that his father remarried just two years after his mother's death but when his eyes set on the little Amira, he couldn't explain why he liked her immediately. Because of Amira, he accepted his father's new wife— Hilary. 

Ryan loves Amira so much, he treats her like his junior sister. He protected her and was always there for her. He watched her grow and shower her with nothing but love. Amira loves him too, he's her everything and she couldn't live a second without him. Their parents were happy with the kind of bond they share.

But things started changing when Amira grew into a beautiful young lady. She was twelve when Ryan started having a different kind of feeling and love towards her. It was not the kind of love a brother should have for his sister, it was beyond that. 

At first Ryan didn't understand what he felt towards her, he thought it was just a normal sibling love. Unknown to him, he was falling deeply in love with her everyday. He realized his love for her when he couldn't control his jealousy, when he only thought of her among every other woman he has met and when he found it hard to love another woman or treat them the way he treats her. 

For two years Ryan did everything in his power to kill the feelings he has for his little sister, Amira. The feelings were too much for him to handle, it was getting a great hold of him. He was just twenty–two years old when he started having those feelings for her and he didn't know how he could control those feelings or kill them. After several research and what he learned from the internet, he concluded that the best solution to kill his feelings for his sister is to be far away from her. He should stay away from her for at least four or five years. He learned that you will keep on falling deeply in love with someone if you see them everyday, so to avoid falling deeply in love with his sister; he decided to leave his hometown.

He wanted to stay away from Amira but the question was 'how?'. Amira is someone that cannot stay a second without her brother and it continued that way until the age of fourteen. Ryan doesn't want to hurt her. He knew that his departure from her life for such a long time would hurt her but he had no choice. 

Luckily an opportunity came out. His father wanted him to go to London and stay with his uncle who will teach him all he needs to know about handling their business in London and after that, he will stay in London and handle their business for some years.

Ryan was happy, it was such a good news but then, he doesn't know how he can live without Amira but he encouraged himself to do it because it was the only way to get rid of the feelings he has for her. After he gets rid of that feeling, he will once again start seeing Amira as his little sister and not someone he loves sexually. 

It wasn't easy to convince Amira not to go with Ryan to London. Fortunately, at last she was able to let go of her big brother but it wasn't easy to live without him over the years. It hurt her the most when her brother refused to allow her to visit him in London. At some point she thought that her big brother hates her and doesn't want to do anything with her. But she didn't stop trying her best to be close to her brother. Her brother doesn't call her but she calls him. He only calls her on her birthday but it wasn't a video call as she wanted but a voice call. Despite all these, she did not stop loving her brother. She convinced herself with the fact that her brother was always busy. That was why he hardly called her or allowed her visit because if she visited him, she wouldn't let him work properly. 

Staying all these years without Amira wasn't easy for Ryan too and it was much frustrating because even though Amira was not physically there with him, she was in his heart and no matter what he did and no matter how many women he dated and slept with, none of them were able to make him forget Amira, they couldn't erase her from his heart. It was driving him insane. He realized that the love he has for Amira is not something he could easily kill. It is five years already and he still hasn't gotten over her. All his effort of staying away from her didn't help at all. He still loves her more than as a sister. 

While he was still struggling to get rid of the feelings he has for her by staying far away from her, Amira called him last week and told him a mixed feeling news. It was a mixed feeling news because he was happy that he will finally meet his little sister after five years but sad because he still hasn't gotten rid of the romantic feelings he has for her. 

Amira called him to remind him of the promise he made to her. Three years ago, he had promised Amira that he would come back to California to celebrate her twentieth birthday with her. He made that promise to her because he thought that by that time, he would have killed the feelings he had for her but that didn't happen. 

Right now, he's in his private jet, flying to California and his heart still beats for his little step sister. He is happy and at the same time nervous to meet her. She must have grown into a beautiful woman and he wonders how he will control himself while around her.
