His Forbidden Luna 1 The werewolf actress

"Who would have guessed that the popular beautiful talented actress was actually a flesh eating animal?"

Raphaela froze.

"A werewolf." An amused mocking laughter followed, "a freaking werewolf."

The laughing stopped, silence followed but Raphaela didn't move.

Her weakness and sudden sickness felt a little strange at first but now...

"Did you poison me?"

Another laugh followed.

"When I found out, I didn't know what to do but as the experimental person I am, I decided to test a little theory ... If the effect of wolfsbane on a wolf is true."

Raphaela's grip on the couch tightened, her back ramrod straight.

"You don't need to get angry, I figured you might wolf out on me if I confronted you and so I decided to protect myself. Every human understands the need for a little self defense."

Raphaela closed her eyes and counted to ten; slowly... slowly... just like Lorenzo had thought her. The dizziness was becoming hard to control and she could vow she had seen Lorenzo smile at her.

The hallucinations...

"Don't worry, I tampered with it a little, it's not as strong and fatal as usual. I figure you'll be totally fine after a week."

Her nails dug into the semi tough material of the couch.

"I actually don't need much, I don't intend to end you little wolf life, I'll very much appreciate a guard dog by my feet."

She could hear her name. She opened her eyes. He no longer smiled at her but even in his hard gaze, she could see the love swirling somewhere inside.

"I need a little bit of your fame. Tomorrow ... no. This night, we'll become a couple. We fit really well. We'll film a good number of films together and attend shows and events together, you know the drill. After a month, you'll announce your retreat from the industry. You want to place all your time in making a family. We'll also get pregnant..."

Lorenzo's face twisted into a snarl and his wolf features began to form. He whispered four words.

'Rip his heart out.'

She shook her head. The hallucinations were dangerous, she had heard. She felt faint. She wasn't sure how long she'd be able to stay conscious and standing.

"... If you do not comply, how will the world take the news that the werewolf legend is actually true and that their favorite actr..."

She fell. And as she fell, in her part conscious state, she heard the ripping of flesh and smelt the faint metallic smell of blood.

********

The internet was in an uproar the next day.

A not so popular but definitely eye turning handsome actor was dead. His heart was ripped out!

(Actor Sheng dead! Left with no heart!)

(Popular actor murdered in cold blood! Heart missing!)

(Is our Sheng gone forever?)

A thorough investigation immediately began as soon as the incident was reported. But the problem was the murder was too clean. There wasn't any trace or clues to follow or any slip ups. The killer was definitely a professional.

But what troubled most and left many in fear was the method used to kill actor Sheng. The killer actually ripped his heart out! Exactly what kind of grudge did the killer have against him or was the killer just a bloodthirsty psychopath who experimented in different methods of killing?

One thing was certain, the killing was animalistic and the perpetrator couldn't be left living amongst normal human beings.

"Detective, there are no fingerprints or clothing left behind. It could just be that he ripped his heart out himself." A subordinate said with a frustrated expression.

The lead detective shot a disapproving look at him, "Is this how you bring about justice? With this attitude? You need to be relieved of your work then."

The subordinate's expression quickly changed, "I was only joking sir. It was only momentary."

The lead detective scoffed, "It better be. Keep searching. The murder is too clean. There must be a slip up somewhere, no one is perfect. Go."

But they had no idea they were up against the invisible.

**********

Raphaela's eyes sprung open and immediately they clashed with an intensifying blue ones. Blue ones filled with a terrifying amount of danger.

"You killed him, didn't you?" She immediately asked without beating around the bush.

Lorenzo's eyes quirked up.

"Rest more. The pack doctor will be here shortly."

Her brows furrowed then narrowed in anger.

"Take me back. Take me home."

"This is your home and besides, where else can you get cured of your degree of poisoning?"

She turned her eyes away.

"Then you should leave."

"Of course, my presence irritates you."

Guilt nagged at her.

"But you should know I don't care. You're my sister, I'll destroy anyone who hurts you."
