His hand gripping her face turned into hot burning coals and he fell, down to the ground, his words disappearing into thin air.
She followed, her hands and eyes running over his face.
"Julien..." She called frantically, checking his pulse.
Her heart dropped to the pit of her stomach when she felt nothing.
"No... Julien... Julien..."
There was no pulse, no heartbeat, nothing. He lay there, his eyes closed; a shadow of a man.
She cried.
"Julien... Julien!"
A loud banging resounded through the whole house.
She hugged Julien's still body, confused and crying. In her daze, she could see uniforms... batons... dogs...
And she was sure she heard...
"K.T. police unit. Miss Raphaela, we have a warrant for your arrest..."
