I hesitantly sat on the space beside her and heaved a sigh while the wind continued to blow on our faces. She looked ahead at the towering buildings surrounding the area, as I did the same thing.

"I thought you won't come," she said, wiping off the wetness on her florid cheeks.

"Let's just say I was expecting someone else," I responded, rubbing my palms on my knees.

"I thought so too." She nodded. "I just wanted to confront you about something."
