Chapter 24

Logan POV

“He’s on his way.” Logan said after he hung up the phone.

Dylan was still trying to break through to Emma’s mind, and still wasn’t having any luck. Logan did the only thing he could do, pray. He was still holding her hand, still whispering in her ear to come back to him. There was a knock on the door and the doctor walked in. He sat his bag down on the bed beside Emma and pulled out a pen light. He pulled open her eye lids and moved the light back and forth in front of her eyes.

After doing that, he pulled out a stethoscope and put it to her chest and listened, while he was listening to her chest, he put two fingers on her wrist. Patrick straightened up and looked at Logan, putting the stethoscope back in his bag.

“Her pupils are reactive but her breathing is shallow and her heartbeat is a little slow. Whatever is going on with her, she seems to be stuck in her mind. She seems to be in a coma.” Patrick told him.
