Logan POV Logan shifted his weight off of her and on to the bed and pulled her close. His fingers traced his mark on her shoulder. She was his, regardless of what happened on the blue moon, she was his. Thinking of the blue moon made him anxious. They were running out of time and he was afraid that Emma wasn’t going to be strong enough to complete her shift. Her leg was causing her too much pain for him to try and help her strengthen up. He just had to hope that she would be better in a few weeks. He heard snoring coming from Emma. He looked down at her beautiful face to see her sleeping peacefully. It was about time, he thought. He held her tightly and let her sleep and it wasn’t long before he was asleep himself. The alarm clock woke him up the next morning, he didn’t even remember setting it. He turned the alarm off before it woke up Emma. She was still snoring. That was the first night that she had slept all night without having to have a sedative. He didn’t know what she had
Logan POV Logan was looking at himself and at Emma. Her belly was swollen and Logan was rubbing her stomach, talking to the baby that was growing in her belly. There was a woman standing behind them, she had long dark hair and ice blue eyes. She had this sparkling aura around her as she enclosed Logan and Emma in her aura, like she was protecting them. He didn’t know who this woman was, but she looked familiar. Her eyes were just like Emma’s. He felt a hand grab his and he looked over to see Emma standing beside him, tears falling down her cheeks. He looked back over to see himself and the other Emma looking back at them, they were both smiling, they were so happy. He squeezed Emma’s hand. Next thing he knew, they were back in the shower. He removed his teeth from Emma’s mark and pulled back and looked at her. Tears were falling down her face. “What was that?” he asked. “You seen it too?” she asked. “I saw us, you were very pregnant, and there was a woman standing behind us
Emma POV Emma and Logan were headed towards her parents' pack territory. Logan hadn’t taken any chances with their safety. There was a car in front of them and behind them, each with five guards. Even with all the guards, she still didn’t feel completely safe. She felt as if someone was following them, watching them. She was terrified that the wolves would jump out of trees and attack them. She wouldn’t feel safe until they were in Shadow Moon’s territory and behind the gate. The trip seemed to take forever and Emma was getting anxious. The further away from home they got, the worse her anxiety was. She kept chewing on the inside of her cheek in order to keep from telling Logan just to turn around and take her home and to just have the pictures sent over. Shopping with Logan’s sisters, Morgan, and Alexis had been fun. Even though they had been in town, the town was safely inside their pack’s territory fence. Logan picked up her hand and kissed her knuckles. She looked at him and
Emma POV Emma was pacing back and forth, so lost in her thoughts that she didn’t hear Logan come back into the office. So, when he put his hand on her shoulder she nearly jumped out of her skin. “Whoa there, you ok?” Logan asked. “Yeah, I’m fine. What did Alpha Kyle say?” Emma asked. “He told me that everything that belonged to your ancestors are still in their old house. When your great great grandparents died, their house was closed up and everything was left inside. Nobody has been in the house since.” Logan told Maggie. “Really?” Maggie asked. Logan nodded his head. “Is Kyle related to you in any way?” Maggie shook her head. “My great grandmother was an only child. After she left the pack, the beta’s family took over as alpha.” “I asked Kyle if it would be ok for us to come and go through things, with your permission of course.” Logan said. “I would like to go too. I would like to see where our family came from as well.” Maggie said. “Good luck getting Dad to ag
Logan POV The car ride from Shadow Moon pack to Black Night pack seemed to take forever. Logan could barely concentrate on driving because he was feeling so much anxiety coming from Emma through their bond. He wouldn’t admit it, but her having that kitten with her helped her anxiety some. She was still anxious, but nowhere near as bad as she was on the way to Shadow Moon. He understood why she was so anxious, he just wished she didn’t have to be. They had spent most of the day going through things that belonged to her family. They found old pictures in the attic, but none of the pictures held the woman they were looking for. Which only means that if the woman was one of Emma’s ancestors, she pre-dates the invention of the camera. They were in the process of boxing things up to have sent to Shadow Moon pack. Maggie decided she wanted to take her ancestor’s belongings home with her. Not that he could blame her, he would want to as well, but he wished this process could hurry along.
Unknown POV Sir, the lady has left the pack’s territory with the Alpha. Guards? Yes, sir. A car in front and a car behind. Keep on them. He closed the mind link. He had his scouts keeping an eye on her, watching, waiting, hoping to catch her outside the territory. Her Alpha was proving to be annoying. Nobody had left territory’s fences in weeks. At least not without guards. He had to get her alone. Get her away. She would be his queen, even if he had to slaughter the whole pack to get her. Although he would prefer not to have to. Killing the whole pack would be too messy, and attract too much attention. One missing wolf wouldn’t raise too many questions, but slaughtering an entire pack would be a completely different story. He had been all over the world and never seen a woman so beautiful. The moment he laid his eyes on her, he knew he had to make her his. And her power, she was a very powerful wolf, even if she didn’t know it, and he suspected that she didn’t. Nobody ha
Logan POV She was absolutely beautiful. Logan watched Emma as she shifted into her wolf. He had never seen anything so beautiful. She was perfect. And almost as big as he was. The way she moved was so graceful and agile. And FAST. Emma left him and Dylan in the dust. He watched as she ran ahead of them until she was out of sight, he began to slightly worry even though they were still inside their territory, he didn’t like not being able to see he. He tried to mind link her, but nothing. He couldn’t get through to her which made him worry a little more. He started to howl trying to get Emma's attention and they eventually caught up to her. As they caught up to her though, she was turned and ready to attack. The growl that came from her made his chest swell with pride, even though she was growling at him. He shifted back and walked through the trees with his hands up. “Whoa, whoa! It’s just us.” he told her. Dylan walked up beside him. Logan noticed that Dylan was careful not to loo
Emma POV Emma couldn’t sleep. She kept having dreams of wolves attacking her pack and killing everyone, and she was helpless to stop it. All she could do was stand there, frozen, watching everyone in her pack die. The dreams were getting worse, more vivid, and changing. Now, in the middle of the wolves there was this one wolf that stood in the center of the rest. This wolf was solid red, the color of blood, its eyes were completely black. She had seen this wolf before. It was the same one that attacked her. She didn’t know what it was about this wolf, but it terrified her. She kept these dreams to herself. She didn’t want to tell Logan, he was already worried enough as it was. It was tearing her up not telling him, keeping this to herself has been a burden almost too heavy for her to carry. She needed to talk to someone, tell them what she was seeing. If her mother was right and she is actually having visions, she needed to warn the pack. If these dreams came true and she said nothi
