Thelma's POV

The antidote had worked. I could feel my strength returning, my wolf finally able to push back against the poison. But something was wrong.

James stood by my bed, smiling, but the smile didn't reach his eyes. And there was something in his hand, hidden behind his back.

"How are you feeling?" he asked, his voice too casual.

"Better," I said carefully, not sitting up fully despite wanting to. "Where's Xavier?"

"He'll be back soon. Had to take care of something urgent." James moved closer. "Thelma, I need to ask you something. Those past lives you have memories of... do you remember anything about a prophecy? Something called the Silver Wolf?"

Every instinct I had screamed danger. "Why do you ask?"

"Just curious. Xavier mentioned you might know things from your past lives. Things that could help us understand what's happening." His hand shifted behind his back. "Did you know that Xavier carries three ancient bloodlines? That he might be something more than just an Alpha?"

  • His Historical Luna   Chapter sixty-four: The Trial Begins

THELMA'S POV broke cold and merciless over the ancient trial grounds.I stood at the edge of the ceremonial arena, watching as pack members from across the territory filed into the stone amphitheater. Hundreds of them. Maybe thousands. All here to witness Xavier either triumph or die.The arena itself was a relic from before the Council, before organized pack politics. Just a circular pit of hard-packed earth surrounded by rising tiers of stone seats. Simple. Brutal. Perfect for what was about to happen."You're shaking," Clara said quietly beside me.I looked down at my hands. She was right. "I can see too many endings.""Which one is strongest?""The one where he almost dies." I wrapped my arms around myself. "The one where I have to watch him bleed before I can help."Clara's hand found my shoulder, squeezed. "He's the strongest wolf I've ever seen. And he has you. That's more than Aurelius has."But was it enough?I closed my eyes, reached for the threads again. They were clearer

  • His Historical Luna   Chapter sixty-three: Dangerous Proximity

THELMA'S POVI should have looked away. Should have cleared my throat or made some excuse to leave the room. Instead, I met Xavier's eyes deliberately, watched them darken from amber to nearly black as he realized I'd caught him staring. The bond between us thrummed with unspoken need."Thelma?" Clara's voice cut through the tension. "Did you find anything else in the database?"I forced my attention back to the screen, acutely aware that my face was probably flushed. "Yes, actually. There's a section here about Aurelius's training regimen. It's... extensive."Marcus moved closer to look over my shoulder. "How extensive?""He's been conditioned since childhood. Combat training, pain tolerance, strategic thinking. Thorne literally designed him to be unbeatable." I scrolled through the files, each one more disturbing than the last. "There are psychological profiles here too. Aurelius doesn't just fight to win. He fights to destroy. Completely."The room went quiet.Xavier's voice, stead

  • His Historical Luna   Chapter sixty-two: After The Storm

THELMA'S POVThe beach house was perfect.Small but private, right on the water, far enough from pack lands that no one would bother us. Xavier had arranged everything while I'd packed—which mostly involved throwing random clothes in a bag and hoping for the best."This is beautiful," I said, stepping onto the deck that overlooked the ocean."I'm glad you like it." Xavier came up behind me, his arms wrapping around my waist. "We have it for two weeks. No phones. No responsibilities. Just us.""Two weeks?""I figured we'd need at least that long for all the plans you mentioned."I leaned back against him, feeling the solid warmth of his chest. His shoulder was healing well—Meridith's treatment combined with my healing had accelerated the process. He still had some stiffness, but nothing that would stop him from—"I can feel you thinking," he murmured against my ear. "What's on your mind?""You. Naked. In that bed I saw inside."His arms tightened. "We just got here.""I know." I turned

  • His Historical Luna   Chapter sixty-one: The Way You Make Me Feel

THELMA'S POVThe trial grounds were packed.Every pack leader who'd survived the Council attack was there. Hundreds of wolves, all watching, all waiting to see if Xavier would live or die.The fighting circle had been drawn in the center, ancient symbols that would prevent anyone from interfering. Once Xavier stepped inside, he was on his own.Aurelius was already waiting. He was massive. Easily a foot taller than Xavier, with muscles that looked carved from stone. His eyes were cold, calculating. This was someone who'd been bred and trained for one purpose, killing opponents in single combat."He's huge," Clara whispered beside me."Size isn't everything," I said, but my voice shook."Thelma…""He's going to win. He has to win." I watched Xavier approach the circle, his injured arm still in a sling. "Because the alternative is unacceptable."Elder Morrigan stepped forward to officiate. Despite everything, the exposure of Council corruption, Thorne's death, she still held her position

XAVIER'S POVI woke to soft touches.Thelma's fingers traced patterns on my chest, following old scars and new bruises. We'd fallen asleep in the war room, not exactly comfortable, but neither of us had wanted to leave the other."You're awake," she murmured."Hard to sleep when you're doing that." I caught her hand, brought it to my lips. "Not that I'm complaining.""I've been thinking.""That's dangerous."She swatted my chest lightly. "I'm serious. About today. About the trial."My stomach tightened. Right. The trial. Against Aurelius. While I was still recovering from fighting Thorne."Don't," I said. "Don't think about it. We'll face it when it comes.""I can't help it. I keep seeing the threads, Xavier. The possible outcomes. And some of them…" Her voice cracked. "...some of them end with you dead.""But not all of them?""No. Not all.""Then I'll make sure we get one of the good ones." I pulled her closer, ignoring the protest from my shoulder. "I didn't survive Thorne just to

  • His Historical Luna   Chapter fifty-nine: Make Me Go Crazy

THELMA'S POV I'd never felt anything like this. Xavier's mouth on me was pure sin. His tongue explored every fold, every sensitive spot, learning what made me gasp and what made me scream. When he sealed his lips around my clit and sucked, I had to bite my hand to keep from waking the entire building. "Don't," he commanded, pulling back. "I want to hear you." "Everyone will…" "Good." He dove back in, even more aggressive now. His tongue thrust inside me while his thumb worked my clit, and I stopped caring about who might hear. "Xavier!" I couldn't stop moving, hips rolling against his face, chasing the pleasure. "Oh God, oh God…" He added his fingers again, two of them stretching me while his mouth focused on my clit. The dual sensation was overwhelming. I was going to come again, harder this time, and… "That's it," he encouraged, feeling me tighten around his fingers. "Come on my tongue. Let me taste you." I exploded. The orgasm ripped through me like lightning, so intense I
