Willow POV I wake up before Brett who is nestled into my neck and gripping my waist rather tightly. Apparently, Alphas are possessive even in their sleep. Willow POV We’d been here for over 2 weeks now and I was starting to lose my mind. Brett was really struggling with the lack of pack knowledge and I felt incredibly guilty that he was here with me and not with his pack. I had told him countless times to go and I would wait here. He then would say he wasn’t leaving me. I would then suggest going with him and he would argue that it wasn’t safe for me right now. We sparred each other every day. I couldn’t beat Brett at all. I had been visiting my witchcraft links to strengthen alliances and gather information. She was younger than I expected and judging by her running, in a lover’s tiff.
