Chapter 44

Willow POV

We managed to actually have a shower this time! Although, the water lost its heat quickly however Brett warmed me up by drying me with a towel. He made a point of ensuring my breasts, bum and lady bits were dry.

We were in the kitchen making tea and breakfast when Lugh walks in through the front door.

“Good morning!” He chimes as he walks through to the kitchen. He shakes Brett’s hand and walks over kissing me on the cheek. Brett growls at this but Lugh only smiles looking at my neck. He touches my mark which is still a little red. It will take the shape of a slightly pink rash mark…like a strawberry mark but very low key to the human eye. A wolf’s eyesight allows for a better vision of mate marks, especially on she-wolves, where male-wolves need to know if a female has already been claimed.

“You have been marked Willow!” He says, not a question but more of a matter of fact.

“Congratulations!”

“Erm thanks Lugh.” I respond touching my mark just to check it is still there.
