Chapter 57

Willow POV

I was running again…running like my life depended on it. I was in wolf form heading back to my family pack. Dread hit me when I smell a scent in the air of blood as I headed to that same field. By the time I reached it a war had broken out. I started to race towards the centre when the vision stopped and my eyes opened.

“Ssh Lugh, it was the only way.” I heard Orla’s voice next to me.

I tried to sit up when I felt cold hands touch my face.

“Willow…how do you feel?!” Lugh asked me, helping me stand up.

“Like I’ve been hurled around in a washing machine.” I just about finish to say before I bend over and empty the entire contents of my stomach.

“A tad dizzy.” I smiled at him.

All eyes were on me and everyone was stepping in closer to me. Orla’s next move surprises me. She pulls my hair behind my shoulders before asking me.

“Do you feel strong enough to shift?”

I still felt queasy but I could see all the hopeful eyes looking at me.
