Her eyes were so pure, they held no judgment or repulsion toward me.

Mia still looks at me the same way, and I feel like a jerk for even making her cry.

When my brother told me she was in love with me, I didn't believe him until I found her in my kitchen. The sadness and the hurt in her eyes made me curse myself countless times for being so dumb.

How could I be so blind?

How could I make her pay for something she did not do?

Carl opened my eyes. He said there are many eyes out there directed at her and if I'm not careful, I will easily lose her.

It's true.

Mia is a treasure and I won't ask what she sees in me anymore. Instead, I will treat her like the Queen she is.
