Chapter 17 edit
I couldn’t believe it. I never thought that I would see him again any time soon. But here he is, standing right in front of me.
“Liam?” I stare at my ex-boyfriend with my mouth open from the surprise appearance.
Liam looks at me with a relieved smile. His light brown eyes were a bit red and puffy, but that could never lead his good looks astray, with his fair colored skin and chiseled jaw. His brown hair was a stylish mess swept to one side and he was wearing a loose grey hoodie with blue jeans. He looked like a hot mess, like he was distressed and had been crying for a while.
“Lily, you’re really back!” He pulls me in and wraps me into a big hug, throwing me off guard. “I’m so glad that you’re okay.”
I was at a loss for words, it was too much for me to process. His hold around me slightly tightens as he snuggles in closer to my neck.
“Liam. What are you doing here?” I finally speak up.

It's been about an hour since we drove from Portland. We were about less than fifteen minutes away from home. Alice has been going 70-80 miles per hour just so we'd get there sooner, and she would have gone faster. But the last thing we needed was for the patrol cops to stop us on the way. Throughout the whole ride, we all tried coming up with a plan to find and rescue Jackson and the others when we arrived. There was nothing anyone could do in a situation like this, we were outnumbered. With rogues in both human and wolf forms. If we made one wrong move, then it would be the end of us. 3rd POV The ear-popping sound of gunfire and bullet hole appear on a tree behind Lily cuts her off mid-sentence. Immediately, she and Jackson run into the trees and duck for cover. When the firing continues a few more times. "Oh Lily~! Come on out now." They hear Ian call out in a calm yet bone-chilling tone of voice. The haunting muse of Ian calling out to her made Lily's stomach turn in the most unpleasant feeling. "You brought a gun to a fight!? You fucking asshole! That's such a cowardly move!" She calls him out. "Now now Lily. I'm not going to kill you with this gun." He reassures. "You shot at me!" She argues back. "Well it certainly grabbed your attention to know I was here, didn't it? And like I said, I won't kill you with this gun. I'll just kill you with my own two hands." The way he had said the last part was sinister, almost eager-like, it sent shivers down Lily's spine and made her stomach drop.

I was all alone in the same meadow field that was in my previous visions. I was self-aware of this being a dream now, although I hadn’t dreamt of this in a while. But something about this time feels calm and relieving. I don’t know what drives my mind to it, but I immediately start running into the woods. Heading in the same direction as many times before as if it was burned into my memory. I make it to the sport that has given me terror and anxiety. And boy has it changed for the better. What used to be a dark void with an endless pit of darkness transformed into a spectacular and wonderous sight. Trees and mountains extending as far as the eye could see with the blue sky and fluffy clouds slowly guiding across with the soft breeze. It was alive with nature and good spirits. And the waterfall was finally visible a few feet away, looking like rushing crystals falling all the way down as it glistens with the sun.

Fate has a strange way of uniting two people. Love is a part of life in more ways than one. Whether if it's with the opposite sex or the same sex, it doesn't matter. Love is love. It's a mission. Some spend almost their entire lives to find the right person to love, while others don't have to search for long. It's all about that special connection two people feel towards one another. Nobody is perfect in a relationship, what matters is the effort and dedication both partners put into it that makes the bond strong and helps them grow together. Lily's POV "Ladies and gentlemen, this is your pilot speaking. Just letting you all know that we have now arrived at Portland Oregon. Please remain in your seats till we've come to a full stop.
