♚ Angel ♚

We lay in the darkness of our bedroom, the chill of the air conditioner held at bay by the warm cocoon of blankets draped over us.

Raul's head rested on my thighs, his dark curls soft under my fingers as I played with them.

There was something so childlike about the way he rested on me, something so raw in his silence.

The silence between us was heavy, not with tension but with the weight of truths about to spill.

Then he began to speak—low, heavy, like a man finally letting old ghosts crawl out of his chest.

"Nikolai and I were inseparable growing up," he started, his voice low, raw, carrying a nostalgia tinged with pain.

"As twins, we were two halves of a whole in high school—heartthrobs, they called us, always together, untouchable. Then I met Alfreda. She was the girl every guy wanted, the kind who turned heads and fueled fantasies. But I didn't want her like that. I thought I'd found the love of my life."

A lump rose in my throat as I stroked his hair in silence.

  • His Mistress.   Collateral Damage.

♚ Nikolai ♚ I read the email over and over, each line carving deeper into my chest. The message from the hospital, followed by that anonymous text, shattered the last bit of illusion I had left. In that moment, I knew—my life wasn't just spiraling. It had already crashed. I destroyed everything. Because of my carelessness, my selfishness, my inability to think beyond my damn sexual urges, I hurt the one person I swore I'd never turn against—my brother. Now, I'm about to be a father... twice. Two different women. One of them is his ex. The other—his wife. This isn't guilt. This is self-inflicted ruin. I used to be reckless, shameless, the manwhore of L.A.—and I wore that title with pride. Until she walked into my life. Angel Caribello. At first, I was drawn to her body, that goddess silhouette and sun-drenched skin. Lust. Pure and simple. But the more I watched her, the more I listened to her speak, laugh, cry... I realized I was falling. Hard. Her golden heart

  • His Mistress.   Queen Checkmate.

💮Third Person💮 Raul sped back to his condo, his knuckles white on the steering wheel, Angel's urgent message burning in his mind. He trusted Angel, she'd never lie to him, but doubt flickered, a nagging question of how she'd known. Was she afraid a child would bind him to Catalina, pulling him back to a marriage he'd long abandoned? He'd sworn he'd never leave Angel, yet the possibility that she might stoop to manipulation gnawed at him, even as he dismissed it. Inside, Catalina sat on the plush couch, legs crossed tightly, her blonde hair pulled back, her green eyes blazing with barely contained excitement as she glared at Angel. Across from her, Angel lounged, infuriatingly relaxed, nibbling on a slice of watermelon, its juice glistening on her lips. The contrast between them was grim—Catalina's tense anticipation versus Angel's cool defiance, each woman a mirror of the other's determination to claim Raul. Raul's arrival shattered the standoff, his presence f

~Angel~ “You were pregnant before we got engaged?"

Raul's voice cracked, low and sharp, fury and betrayal swirling in his blue eyes.

His hands clenched at his sides, knuckles white, as if holding himself back from shattering.

Claretta's tear-streaked face crumpled, her swollen eyes desperate.

"I-I'm sorry, Raul," she stammered, her voice trembling. "I thought I loved him."

"And now what?" He let out a bitter chuckle. "You expect me to raise a child that isn't mine?" His jaw clenched. "You've completely lost it, Claretta."

"R-Raul, please—" she choked, her hands wringing.

"Go back to Nikolai," he snapped, venom lacing every word. "And don't ever show your face again."

"Please, Raul, if not for me, then for the child in my womb," she pleaded, her voice breaking. "We can work this out, I swear."

"I said leave!" he roared, his voice thunderous. "Before I do something I'll regret."

His rage was terrifying; raw and barely contained. For a split second, I truly though

Angel’s Pov “And the award for Best Rising Star goes to… Angel Caribello*!” The applause erupted around me in a thunderous wave. I blinked in surprise, stunned for a second. I hadn’t expected to win—I didn’t even prepare to win. I turned to Raul, and there he was, standing and clapping with that signature proud smile that made my insides melt. “Go, pretty ass!” Bianco whooped from the side, earning a withering glare from Raul. I swallowed my nerves, summoned courage, and rose, my gown shimmered as I made my way to the stage. Cheers mingled with murmurs—envious women, ambitious men who’d coveted the award, their voices a low hum of resentment. I ignored them, and moved with my chin high up. “Thank you,” I said softly as the middle-aged presenter handed me the golden trophy. “Anything to say?” he asked, leaning in. I gave a graceful shake of my head. I had no intention of feeding the gossip blogs tonight. As I walked back to my seat, a woman’s venomous words cut through th

💮Angel💮

I stared at my reflection in the mirror, admiring the nude-colored gown Raul had picked out for me.

The shimmery polyester clung to my body like a second skin, tracing every curve I possessed. Tiny diamonds were intricately stitched into the fabric, catching the light with every breath I took.

The plunging neckline, barely concealed by a sheer body net, teased just enough—my breasts gently peeking through without shame or apology.

My curly hair was swept up into an elegant updo, with a few soft strands cascading down the sides of my face.

I kept the makeup nude and minimal to match my skin tone, finishing off with a glossy sheen that kissed my lips.

The diamond jewelry he gifted me sparkled beneath the vanity lights. I slipped them on quickly, then stepped into my heels and made my way downstairs.

That's when I saw him.

Leaning effortlessly against the wall, Raul looked like sin in a suit.

The black tailored tux hugged his frame perfectly, paired with
