Chapter:8

Kenzie's POV

I wake up from the best sleep that I've ever had to my alarm sounding next to me. A small moan escapes me and I squeeze the pillow tighter. I stop when I feel the pillow's heartbeat.

"Pillows don't have heart beats, dummy. That's our mate." Aria says excitedly and I slowly open my eyes.

Sure enough, Aiden is laying next to me with his arm under my neck and my arm and leg over him. I smile slightly and take him in.

His face is turned away from me so I can't admire him fully like a total psycho.

I try to get up but he only pulls me in tighter, taking a deep breath in. "Morning." He says and I melt at his deep voice.

"Good morning." I say in a small voice. "We have school." I say and he hums.

"Let's skip." He mumbles and pulls me onto of him. "I can't skip school. Your dad will have my ass." I say laying my head against his chest.

"No he won't. Go back to sleep." He says and I sigh. I won't be able to.
