Without thinking more about it, Ryder grabbed her lips into his and began relishing on it.

Ivy felt delighted, her heart dangled with bliss as her hand goes round his body, while she devoured on his lips as well. Her husband was finally back to her.

It was morning, light rays sipped through her window into her eyes.

She rolled aimlessly on her bed recalling last night. She had one of the hottest night with her husband.

The joy in her heart clouded her face. She was extremely happy, anyone could tell.

But as she stretched her hand out the more, it was met with an empty space on the bed.

She jolted up immediately.

It was six in the morning, where had her husband gone? Her forehead creased.

Her heart constricting with uncertainties. What if her husband later went out last night?

She remembered her husband's phone ringing non-stop at night after their escapades, was it in her dream?

Either way, she stood up, the joy still lingering in her heart. Ryder wouldn't do such thing again. Maybe he had gone to work.

Not long after, she was done taking her bath and came out in her robe.

When she was done dressing up, she went out into her car and drove off. All the while smile radiating her face.

She had her husband now, they were so lost in the moment yesterday she couldn't even tell him they were expecting a baby.

The eargerness swimming in her blood, she couldn't wait to get to the office.

First she'd go to her husband's office before heading to her own, she must break the news to him today. She couldn't wait to see his happy face.

Few minutes later, Ivy arrived at the company. Her face glowing with nothing but pure happiness. She hopped into the elevator.

When she got to her floor, she was met with murmurs, but what does that had to do with her? She and her husband just made up and she was still in a pool of joy and love.

Without caring about the gossip and murmurs flying around, she walked steadily to her husband's door.

She adjusted her pony and the feminine coller of her shirt. Then she tilted her lips into a smile. She looked extra beautiful today.

After that, she held on her husband's door ready to go in.

However, when she pushed the door open, the happiness on her face swiftly disappeared. Her eyes was met with her nightmares sitting comfortably on her Ryder's office couch.

Lump slowly formed at her throat.

She opened her mouth to speak, but nothing came out.

"Hi Ivy.." Sheila muttered, with her hand waving and her signature fake smile plastered on her face.

It irked Ivy to her bone. She wished she'd be gone and leave them alone, but seems she was never leaving, and Ryder would never draw the line. He would always welcome her.

"Hello.. Sheila." Ivy replied, her voice strained, trying to manage the anger fudging inside her heart.

Why had she come back here? She thought Ryder had said he wouldn't do anything to hurt her anymore? Why did he allow her come here again? Her heart twitched in her chest. She needed an explanation right now. But this b!tch sat there behaving as though they were cool.

"Ivy.. we are colleague now, I'm sure Ryder hasn't told you.. right?" Sheila muttered.

Ivy's forehead creased, what was she talking about?

She looked up at Ryder, but he couldn't even hold an eye contact with her.

She watched in disbelief as Ryder's eyes goes round the room except her's.
