MEGAN’S POV

Six years later, I was no longer the love-stricken and timid Megan—not anymore. I became the most powerful and admired lady all over New York City. The faceless Moon Heiress every pack wanted to join forces with—well respected and successful. I’ve not only become powerful, I was fearless. Ready to take over my rightful position as the Alpha Queen of my Moon Royal Pack and the Moon Heiress of the werewolf packs, I came back to New York City to dominate and not be controlled.

I was dressed in an exquisite outfit, seated on a golden seat, and busy with the pack’s business files piled up in front of me. A picture of my little boy was placed on the table in front of me.

“Mommy!” The tiny voice squeaked from the entrance, and my face curved into a wide smile as my little boy rushed into my embrace.

“Oh, my dearest Eleazar. Why are you here, sweetie?” I bent over to his height and pecked his cheeks.

He chuckled. “Happy birthday, Mommy. Look, Uncle Lucien brought you a cake.” Eleazar pointed at the handsome man who was approaching us.

“Happy birthday, Meg.” Lucien, who happened to be my childhood friend, the Alpha of the Dark Moon Pack, and a strong rival of the Crescent Moon Pack, walked in with a birthday cake.

“Thank you, Lucien. You know you really don’t have to.” I reluctantly took the cake from him.

Lucien held my hands, staring passionately at me. “I will always celebrate your birthday, Meg.”

“Thank you, Lucien. I’m sure my dad was the one who urged you to take care of Eleazar. He can be a handful, and I know that. I mean, I know you’re busy with your pack too.” I smiled faintly as I held onto Eleazar’s hand tightly.

“It’s never trouble, and you know that, Megan.” He softly replied, and I nodded my head.

Then, Eleazar tapped my fist. “Mom, Uncle Lucien said the birthday party will be a massive party. Can I come?” He rubbed his palms pleadingly.

“Now what did you promise me about early bedtime? Go wash up; we'll get lunch.” I gently pushed him off.

Taking a deep sigh of disappointment, he shook his little head. “You’re so tough, Madam Moon Heiress.” He grumbled as he walked upstairs while I giggled.

“I heard Austin is still looking for you.” Alpha Lucien started, and I turned to him with furrowed eyebrows. “Trying to find me? Why? Isn’t he supposed to be married to his dearest Kayla? Or does he want me to make his mistress some more soup?” I spoke in between gritted teeth.

With worry in his eyes, Lucien held my hands and softly spoke. “He’ll be attending the party. He rarely attends parties like this, but he’ll be there. Can you…?” “Why not?” I cut in sharply with an air of authority. “I am no longer Megan Prescott Sinclair—not anymore. I am the Moon Heiress and the Alpha Queen of the most powerful pack, the Moon Royal Pack. That Megan that loved him wholeheartedly?” I scoffed in absolute disdain. “She’s long gone. Why should I hide from him? You are throwing this party for me, so I have to be there.” I uttered with finality in the tone of my voice.

Lucien smiled broadly. “If you say so, my lady. My humble pack cannot wait to welcome the Moon Heiress. Throwing this party for your birthday is a big honor.”

“Stop joking, Lucien.” I chuckled softly while sipping a glass of wine.

On the fateful day of the party, the venue was filled with guests. From upstairs, behind the beaming lights, I sighted Austin walking in with his arm candy, Kayla, whose hands were wrapped around his arms.

They walked straight to Alpha Lucien, who was busy discussing with other guests.

“Didn’t think you’d find someone desperate enough to be your Luna, Lucien.” Austin mockingly uttered, his hands tucked into the pocket of his trousers.

Lucien smirked coldly at him. “And I didn’t think you’d be pathetic enough to show up at my event.”

Ignoring him, Alpha Austin snapped his fingers, and a lady walked into the hall bearing the gift. “A gift for your Luna.”

The gift box was opened, revealing the deep green, shimmering emerald necklace. “Try not to mess things up tonight.” Austin whispered into Lucien’s ear.

With a cold laugh, Lucien retorted. “I could say the same to you, Alpha Austin.”

I got up from where I was seated. This was the time—the time to be introduced to the guests, who were impatiently waiting to see Lucien’s supposed Luna-to-be.

Gracefully, I walked down the stairs, and everyone turned to look at me. I was dressed in a shimmering, elegant, black dress paired with a silver kitten heel.

Gasps filled the air. The guests started mumbling to themselves. “That’s Alpha Lucien’s future Luna.”

The moment Austin saw me, his eyes grew and his jaw dropped as I walked towards them with a mild smile. He staggered backwards in astonishment. Kayla stared at me, stunned.

“Megan?” Austin mouthed in disbelief.

Alpha Lucien walked to me with a wide smile as he offered me his arm, and I slipped my hand through it. “Thank you, Lucien.”

“Always welcome, my lady.” He stretched out the gift from Austin, who was too shocked to say another word. “This is a gift from Austin.” He continued as he slowly opened the gift box.

I recognized the emerald necklace immediately. The same one I had pleaded with my ‘ex-husband’ to get for me.

“Emerald?” I nervously uttered with a forced smile on my face. “It’s… it’s exquisite.” I added.

Lucien brought the necklace out of the box and was about to wear the necklace around my neck when Austin, who couldn’t stand the sight any further, pushed Kayla off and grabbed Lucien’s suit aggressively as everyone gasped.

I swallowed hard. Austin pushed Lucien away and grabbed my arm. In his eyes were possession and envy. “Megan, where have you been?”

MEGAN’S POVAlpha Austin stared at me with shock in his eyes. He had always known that I was a weak omega, and he knew how much I was bullied. Hence, seeing me almost squeezing life out of Kayla with just a movement of my hand got him stunned. I forcefully pulled back my hand, and Kayla staggered to the ground but before she could fall, she landed on the table behind her. So she held the table tight, and managed to raise her head, staring at me in astonishment and disbelief. “You… you dare hurt me?” Kayla stared at me with narrowed eyes, but I didn’t bother to reply her. Nathan scoffed in disgust. “You know what? You’re right.” They exchanged glances at each other. “Right? About what?” Austin questioned anxiously. “Jealous? Actually, I’m pretty sure Eleazar has my blood in him.” Nathan replied with a soft snort, and that triggered Austin even more. “What? Feeling better?” He rolled his eyes. I could see Austin’s fist clench in anger. “So you were pregnant with another man’s baby

MEGAN’S POVKayla burst into a laughter filled with mockery and scorn. She walked closer to me with a smug expression. “See? Pretending to be someone you’re not makes you look even more pathetic.”I ignored her and just stood there as my eyes moved frantically back and forth between her and Austin. Then, Austin started in a calm tone—to my surprise. “Megan, if you needed money, why didn’t you just come to me? There’s no point in making a fool of yourself.”I shook my head with a scoff. What was I thinking? That he was any better? Of course, he has never stopped being an asshole. “What the hell are we waiting for? She should be dragged out by the security already. Get out, you imposter!” Kayla yelled at me and grabbed my arm forcefully. She was probably looking forward to the ‘old’ Megan crying and pleading for mercy; instead, I grabbed her hair aggressively, and she winced in pain. Gasps rent the air, but that was the least I cared about. Kayla struggled to free herself from my gri

MEGAN’S POVI felt my blood boiling with rage as Kayla raised her head, her hand on her reddened cheek, and her eyes widened in astonishment. My fist clenched tight as I breathed heavily, glaring at them with absolute disgust and anger. However, to my surprise, Austin didn’t try to defend Kayla, like he used to. He just stood there, speechless, with his eyes on me. “You… how dare you hit me?” Kayla cried out and turned her gaze at Austin, hoping for him to intervene, but he didn’t say a word. She turned back at me and blurted out rudely. “You lowlife! You should be begging at my feet. I might help you land the janitor work that you’re looking for dressed in that funny-looking apron.”“With a mouth like that, you could really use a janitor.” I snapped at her, and she swallowed hard in embarrassment. Austin stared at me with tender eyes and started. “If you need a job, there are some big names inside. I can vouch for you.”My face flushed with disgust, and Kayla chuckled nervously a

MEGAN’S POVI sat on the couch with my laptop placed on my lap, and my eyes fixed on the screen of the computer. The creaking sound of the door brought my attention to the entrance. Nathan walked in and handed an iPad to me. Reluctantly, I took the iPad from him and stared at the screen with tilted eyes. “Got some interesting news for you. Have you checked the account you used before your divorce?” He inquired, and I shook my head, with my eyes still glued on the iPad. He snorted and continued. “Looks like your ex-husband has been making deposits.” My fist clenched in a fit of rage. “What?”“I guess he must really think you’re broke and living on the streets. He can’t let go, can he?” Nathan laughed dryly as I scrolled through the iPad with a heavy sigh. I scoffed. “Not my problem. Just transfer all of it back to him.”“Ah, come on. Think of it as a tax for all your emotional damages.” Nate countered, and I heaved a sigh. Of course I know how persistent Nate can be, so I only shr

AUSTIN’S POV“Any updates?” I breathlessly inquired, flipping the pages of the file on the table in front of me. The picture of how Lucien held Megan couldn’t get out of my head. It’s only been a few years, and she already got her arms wrapped around him like they’re a couple. The beta started. “Alpha… uh… we’ve looked into Miss Megan. It seems like she and Lucien have a long history together. Rumor has it that the kid she has with her is his, but they never made it official.” Anger surged through my veins. She actually kept his son but aborted ours? The beta continued. “We… we also found out something else.”“What is it?” I inquired anxiously with my eyes narrowed. “She has ties with the Moon Royal Pack. But we don’t have the full picture yet.” My beta snapped, and my eyes grew in a mixture of surprise and shock. Ties with the Moon Royal Pack? It’s only been a few years, and Megan had already kissed up to almost all the influential packs and Alphas. My fist clenched in anger and

  • His Rejected Luna Is The Moon Heiress   Episode 12

MEGAN’S POVI ran down the hallway, panting heavily with my eyes moving frantically from one nook to another. My hands were shaking, and my face was drowned with worry. I kept on dialing the number on my phone, but it wasn’t going through. “Where did you go, Eleazar?” I sobbed with a voice filled with anxiety and fear. Eleazar and I had just come back for the first time since he was born. He isn’t familiar with anyone or any place here. How could he have left the house without notice? I recalled that I had left my IV for this party on the bedside table. Apparently, Eleazar found the card and left the house to attend the party. While I worriedly dialed his number, I almost bumped into Lucien, who was also looking for Eleazar. “Have you seen him?” We chorused in unison, and I shook my head. “Oh, goddess! Where the hell did that kid run off to? I can’t get through to his phone.” I lamented with teary eyes. Lucien gently patted my shoulder, and with a reassuring voice, he said. “Do
