MEGAN’S POV

The Rolls-Royce drove into a massive mansion, and the driver rushed down to open the car while Nate helped me out of the car. The moment I stepped out of the car, I heaved a sigh of relief as I scanned around the compound with a faint smile on my face.

“It feels good to be back home. I’m never leaving again.” I mumbled as Nate patted my shoulder.

The servants and bodyguards stood by the door, and the minute I stepped closer to them, they bowed immediately. “Welcome home, Moon Heiress,” they chorused as I smiled a little.

The entrance door swung open, and my father walked out of it. Tears clouded my eyes. I was filled with regret and sadness. I could remember clearly 4 years ago, standing on this same spot, I dragged my luggage out, refusing to listen to all pleas and warnings not to marry Alpha Austin.

“My decision is final. I’m not going to Europe, and I would rather not take over the pack’s position as the Moon Heiress. All I want is to be Austin’s wife.” I lamented dragging my box out of the mansion.

Tears brimmed in my eyes as I sniffed hard and ran to my father. I fell on my knees as tears rolled from my face. He quickly helped me up. “Don’t cry, my princess.” He patted my hair.

“I’m so sorry, Dad; you warned me, but I was blinded by love. I didn’t listen. I let you down, Dad.” I whimpered, turning away my face in shame.

“That bastard.” The Alpha King, my father muttered as he patted me tenderly. “He never deserved you. You’re home now, Megan. Have some rest; please keep in mind that you have a little life growing inside you. Most importantly, you have to learn how to be a real Alpha Queen of our pack and the Moon Heiress of the Werewolf Packs. Moreover, you would have to leave soon for Europe to handle our business and companies over there for a while. Megan, my dear, are you ready?”

I sniffed hard and nodded. “Yes, Dad. I’m ready to take back my crown and my unparalleled bloodline. If not anything, for my baby.” I slowly rubbed my stomach. Instantly, I took off the patch on my chest, and my eyes gleamed with fire.

“That’s the daughter I birthed. You concealed your extraordinary powers just to be with that bastard. I’m glad you’re finally back to take over your crown as the Moon Heiress.” My father smiled broadly.

With a teary smile, I sniveled hard. “I won’t let you down again, Dad. I have to step up my game for you, the pack, and my child.”

“Oh, that’s by the way. How far gone are you?” He softly questioned. “Did they give you a sonogram?”

My eyes widened, and a gasp escaped my mouth. “I left the report at Austin’s. I’ll get it tomorrow. He doesn’t need to know about the baby. Once I get the sonogram, I’ll leave the country for Europe.”

Meanwhile, Alpha Austin walked into the mansion with his suitcase still in his hand. “Megan, did you make my French toast…” He stopped as his eyes scanned around the empty house. His voice echoed while he spoke.

“Did she really not come back?” He thought as he dropped the suitcase on the sofa and walked towards the unmade bed with his eyes dimmed with worry.

Memories rushed back into his head as his eyes moved from the couch to the bed and then to the dressing table.

“Austin, I know you liked this shirt so much; don’t worry, I’ll sew in the fallen button myself.” I had smiled broadly as I sat on the couch with a needle and thread as I sewed the missing button on his shirt, and then suddenly I got pricked by the needle, and I flinched in pain.

He only turned his face at me and mumbled nonchalantly. “You’re so clumsy. Try to be more careful.”

And then, he glanced at the bed. He remembered when I always made the bed, folded his pajamas neatly and placed them on the bed, waiting for him each time he came back from work.

Whenever he stepped into the bedroom, I would rush to help him take off his suit and the suitcase while he put on his pajamas that had already been folded and placed on the bed, then slipped his feet into the already arranged fur slides.

He recalled how he always found strawberry cupcakes on the bedside table because he had a sweet tooth and I’d always bake him his favorite strawberry cakes.

Now, there were no pajamas, no cupcakes, no fur slides… just the cold, empty

However, he never believed that I was going to divorce him. In his words, where would she go? How would she survive without me? He only concluded that I was throwing tantrums and that I would be back to become his obedient housewife.

As he paced about the room, his eyes caught on a paper on the table, and reluctantly he picked it up. His eyes grew wide in shock and realization.

“A sonogram?” He mouthed as he stared at the paper.

Without hesitation, he grabbed his phone and dialed a number before placing the phone on his left ear.

“Alpha, you must have heard the good news. Luna Megan is pregnant, congratulations.” The pack doctor’s elated voice echoed through the phone’s speaker.

He shut his eyes tight. “So it’s true?”

“Of course, Alpha. She was so excited and couldn’t wait to share the news with you. I’m a little surprised you’re just finding out now. She was eager to share the news with you.” The doctor continued as Austin’s jaw dropped.

Then, he flashed back to the times I had told him I had something to tell him and how he didn’t pay any attention. “Thank you, doctor.” He managed to speak and hung the call up.

Slamming his fist against the table, his eyes gleaming like wildfire. “Megan. No…” He growled.

  • His Rejected Luna Is The Moon Heiress   Chapter 9

AUSTIN’S POVTwo days past, and the house was still cold and empty. I had always thought she would come back even before the day runs over. However, it’s been two days, and she hasn’t come running back to me as usual. Whenever I thought of her not coming back again, my heart skipped, but I kept telling myself that she wouldn’t be able to live without me. She has nothing to her name… she’s just an orphan omega. Where could she possibly go?I sat on the dinning table and Madam Adeline, the steward served the cuisines on the table. Picking up the cutlery, I started digging into the piping hot chicken breast and suddenly, I spat it out with absolute disgust. “What the…” I spat it into a serviette paper. “Why is the chicken so bland? Who made this and why does it taste this bad?” My eyes furrowed in anger.“I’m sorry, Alpha. It has always been Luna Megan who makes the chicken breast sauce.” Madam Adeline mumbled. but I was interrupted by the chatting and loud laughter coming from the ent

MEGAN’S POVThe flashy cars drove into the Crescent Moon Pack, and the bodyguards got down from the first car and rushed over to the Bentley where I was seated and opened the car door. I got out of the car and stood in front of the house I once called home, staring at it now in disgust. This was once where I wished to come back to, but not anymore. I was about to enter the mansion when Austin stormed out of the house, and I halted. He rushed to me and held my wrist firmly. “Is it true? You’re pregnant?” His words brought cold shivers down my spine. Did he see the sonogram? Taking a deep breath, I questioned. “You already know?” I narrowed my eyes.“Is it my child?” He desperately inquired, and my eyes became cold instantly. “What do you mean? Whose child would it be if not yours? We were married; why would I carry another man’s child?” I glared hard at him.His mouth curved into a smug smile. “So I’m going to have an heir? For the sake of the baby, I’m willing to give you another

MEGAN’S POVMy eyes watered as I sat at the dining table with two plates of piping hot bone soup on the table in front of me while I stared at the divorce papers placed on the table with tear-blurred eyes. My boxes were already packed and standing next to the seat where I sat. This was it. I’m fed up, and I’ve had enough of this humiliation. I gave Austin so many chances, but he threw them all away. Likewise, I shut my eyes tight, and tears rolled down my face. Taking a deep breath, I picked up the pen beside it and signed the papers without a second thought. Then, I heard the car honking and quickly wiped my tears. The door was swung open, and Alpha Austin walked in with Kayla wrapping her hand around his arm.Immediately I heard them giggling and chatting loudly, and I clenched my fist in utter disgust and fury. The moment they stepped in, Austin walked up to me with arched eyebrows. “What the hell, Megan? Where’s the soup I told you to prepare for Kay? Kayla is sick; can’t you be

MEGAN’S POVI slowly opened my weak eyes and saw that I was in the hospital. My head ached. How the hell did I get here? I remembered calling for help, but I don’t know if it went through. The door creaked open, drawing my attention to the entrance as the doctor walked in. “Luna Megan, you’re lucky. A man and a maid had you rushed to the hospital just in time.”“My baby…” I gasped, placing my hand on my stomach with tears pricking my eyes. Then, a voice snapped in. “The baby is safe, Meg.” My eyes grew in excitement. Of course, I can never forget that voice. He walked in with plastic bags filled with fruits and freshly made juice. “Nate?” I called out with a wide smile. He dropped the plastic bags and rushed to embrace me. In his arms, I burst into tears. “Luna Megan, your child is safe, and I hope this is the last time something like this happens. You need to rest because you lost a lot of blood.” The doctor continued before leaving while I nodded slowly. Disengaging the hug, N

  • His Rejected Luna Is The Moon Heiress   Chapter 4

MEGAN’S POVThat night felt like a year. All I did was lie on my back, staring at the ceiling blankly. I waited and hoped that Austin would come back to bed, but he didn’t. Instead, my phone chimed, and I quickly picked it up. A video message popped up on my phone, and I quickly opened it. “Hey, Luna. Look, Austin is sleeping so peacefully wrapped in my arms. Don’t mind so much; we’ve always been like this. He just can’t sleep well without being in my arms like a baby.” Kayla’s annoying laughter brought hot tears brimming in my eyes. The sight of my ‘dear’ husband fast asleep in her arms made my heart ache. He left me in the cold and went to sleep in her arms. I’m his Luna, his mate, but he would throw me out without a second thought once it has to do with Kayla. I quickly shut the phone and dropped it on the table, sniffing hard as tears rolled down my cheeks. Another message popped up on my phone; this time it was just a picture. Kayla was dressed in a bikini, kissing Austin’s c
