MEGAN’S POV

The flashy cars drove into the Crescent Moon Pack, and the bodyguards got down from the first car and rushed over to the Bentley where I was seated and opened the car door.

I got out of the car and stood in front of the house I once called home, staring at it now in disgust. This was once where I wished to come back to, but not anymore. I was about to enter the mansion when Austin stormed out of the house, and I halted. He rushed to me and held my wrist firmly.

“Is it true? You’re pregnant?” His words brought cold shivers down my spine. Did he see the sonogram?

Taking a deep breath, I questioned. “You already know?” I narrowed my eyes.

“Is it my child?” He desperately inquired, and my eyes became cold instantly.

“What do you mean? Whose child would it be if not yours? We were married; why would I carry another man’s child?” I glared hard at him.

His mouth curved into a smug smile. “So I’m going to have an heir? For the sake of the baby, I’m willing to give you another chance. All the lies that you’ve told, I’ll overlook them. Just come home.”

Anger and something indescribable rose inside of me. I stared at him with absolute disgust and then scoffed. “Wow! How generous of you! Too bad, I already had an abortion.”

His eyes grew in shock and fury. “You… You what? You killed our baby?” His voice wavered, and he screamed loudly. “You had no right to make that decision, Megan. That is my child.”

“Your child?” I snorted in disbelief. “You mean the one you didn’t want, Austin? Oh, please spare me that act, would you? The child is gone, and so is our union.”

With that, I snatched my arm from him and headed into the mansion. He tried to grab my hand, but the bodyguards stopped him. “What is this, Megan? You dare to harass your alpha and husband with these hooligans?” He screamed, but I didn’t spare a glance.

I rushed into the house and straight to the bedroom to look for the sonogram. My eyes scanned around the room as I rushed into the dressing room, and then he stormed in after a few minutes. His eyes were desperate but proud. I didn’t bother to look at him as I searched my luxury bags frantically.

“You couldn’t stay away from the luxury, huh? Apologize, and maybe I’ll let you keep some of it.” He uttered, and I ignored him.

He grabbed my wrist, and I glared hard at him with my eyes glistening in a bright red color. “Let go!” I hurled his hand forcefully, and he staggered backwards. His eyes grew in extreme shock and disbelief as he stared at me.

Clutching to his chest, he questioned curiously. “How… How do you have so much power?”

I didn’t bother replying to him as I saw the sonogram paper on the table. I hurriedly picked it up and snapped my finger; the bodyguards rushed into the room.

“Pack everything… bags, clothes, jewelry… everything.” I ordered sternly, and the bodyguards did exactly as I said.

Alpha Austin scoffed with a smug expression. “Are you that desperate? You can’t leave anything that I bought you? I guess you know you’re nothing without me.”

I didn’t bother talking to him because I walked away with the bodyguards. Once we stepped outside, there was already a burning fire outside the mansion. I gestured to the bodyguards to throw the clothes and bags into the fire, which they did immediately.

“What are you doing?” Austin asked in astonishment as he ran out of the house.

“I don’t need any of these or you.” I added fearlessly as the last batch of jewelry and dresses was scattered into the fire.

Austin stared astonishingly at the burning flame. Then, he stretched out a check on me. “Look, I know you’re proud, but you’re going to be stranded without me. Come on, take this and…”

He was still talking when I took the check from him. “I knew you’d take it. If you don’t, how would you survive…?” He was cut short and a gasp escaped his mouth when I flung the paper into the burning fire.

“I don’t need your f****** money. Not now, not ever.” I snapped to his shock.

With that, I patted my stomach gently and whispered. “It’s okay, little one. We don’t have to be scared anymore. Once we leave this hellhole, we can be together without fear.”

I walked down to the car, and the door was flung open by one of the bodyguards, and I hopped in after one last stare at Austin, who was too stunned to say another word.

As soon as the car’s doors were shut, I picked up my purse and brought out of it a small bottle that contained a black liquid. Reluctantly, I gulped down the contents of the bottle. Instantly, my powers came back. I opened my eyes and stared at my palms that were glowing with strength in my veins.

“At last. You’re letting me out now.” The white glowing wolf that appeared right next to me howled.

I took a deep breath of relief. Just to be with Alpha Austin, I even sealed away my supernatural abilities as the Moon Heiress. I disguised myself as a poor, homeless omega just to be with Austin and to make him feel superior, but what did I get? Rejection. Now, I’ve realized that I shouldn’t have lost myself for him after all.

From now on, I’ll learn to live for myself and for my child. The life I rejected to be with Austin, I’ve decided to embrace.

“Kiara, I’m back. Not back as Alpha Austin of the Crescent Moon Pack’s housewife and Luna, but I’m back as the one the Moon Goddess chose as the Moon Heiress and the supreme Alpha King’s only child. The heir to the vast empire and wealth of the powerful royal European pack. I can’t lose myself for Austin any longer.” I said with my eyes fierce and sharp.

Austin Sinclair, the loving and tolerant wife you once knew, is gone!

A week later, I was set to leave the country for good. On my way to the airport, the car stopped in traffic and I stared out of the window, lost in my thoughts.

Suddenly, my eyes caught the public display screen. A gasp escaped my lips when I saw a picture of me on the screen and then there was Alpha Austin.

“Urgent. Alpha Austin Sinclair has issued a missing person’s alert. He is searching for his wife, Megan Prescott.” My eyes grew, and I gasped hard.

Then, the microphone was handed to Austin, and he continued. “Anyone who provides information will be rewarded one million dollars”

My fists clenched tight. “Austin will never get to see me and my child anymore. This pup is the Moon Goddess’s gift. I can’t let my child grow up in such a toxic environment. I have to protect my child. I can’t let Austin find me. Once I get to Europe, he’ll never find me again.”

AUSTIN’S POVTwo days past, and the house was still cold and empty. I had always thought she would come back even before the day runs over. However, it’s been two days, and she hasn’t come running back to me as usual. Whenever I thought of her not coming back again, my heart skipped, but I kept telling myself that she wouldn’t be able to live without me. She has nothing to her name… she’s just an orphan omega. Where could she possibly go?I sat on the dinning table and Madam Adeline, the steward served the cuisines on the table. Picking up the cutlery, I started digging into the piping hot chicken breast and suddenly, I spat it out with absolute disgust. “What the…” I spat it into a serviette paper. “Why is the chicken so bland? Who made this and why does it taste this bad?” My eyes furrowed in anger.“I’m sorry, Alpha. It has always been Luna Megan who makes the chicken breast sauce.” Madam Adeline mumbled. but I was interrupted by the chatting and loud laughter coming from the ent

MEGAN’S POVThe Rolls-Royce drove into a massive mansion, and the driver rushed down to open the car while Nate helped me out of the car. The moment I stepped out of the car, I heaved a sigh of relief as I scanned around the compound with a faint smile on my face. “It feels good to be back home. I’m never leaving again.” I mumbled as Nate patted my shoulder. The servants and bodyguards stood by the door, and the minute I stepped closer to them, they bowed immediately. “Welcome home, Moon Heiress,” they chorused as I smiled a little. The entrance door swung open, and my father walked out of it. Tears clouded my eyes. I was filled with regret and sadness. I could remember clearly 4 years ago, standing on this same spot, I dragged my luggage out, refusing to listen to all pleas and warnings not to marry Alpha Austin. “My decision is final. I’m not going to Europe, and I would rather not take over the pack’s position as the Moon Heiress. All I want is to be Austin’s wife.” I lamented

MEGAN’S POVMy eyes watered as I sat at the dining table with two plates of piping hot bone soup on the table in front of me while I stared at the divorce papers placed on the table with tear-blurred eyes. My boxes were already packed and standing next to the seat where I sat. This was it. I’m fed up, and I’ve had enough of this humiliation. I gave Austin so many chances, but he threw them all away. Likewise, I shut my eyes tight, and tears rolled down my face. Taking a deep breath, I picked up the pen beside it and signed the papers without a second thought. Then, I heard the car honking and quickly wiped my tears. The door was swung open, and Alpha Austin walked in with Kayla wrapping her hand around his arm.Immediately I heard them giggling and chatting loudly, and I clenched my fist in utter disgust and fury. The moment they stepped in, Austin walked up to me with arched eyebrows. “What the hell, Megan? Where’s the soup I told you to prepare for Kay? Kayla is sick; can’t you be

MEGAN’S POVI slowly opened my weak eyes and saw that I was in the hospital. My head ached. How the hell did I get here? I remembered calling for help, but I don’t know if it went through. The door creaked open, drawing my attention to the entrance as the doctor walked in. “Luna Megan, you’re lucky. A man and a maid had you rushed to the hospital just in time.”“My baby…” I gasped, placing my hand on my stomach with tears pricking my eyes. Then, a voice snapped in. “The baby is safe, Meg.” My eyes grew in excitement. Of course, I can never forget that voice. He walked in with plastic bags filled with fruits and freshly made juice. “Nate?” I called out with a wide smile. He dropped the plastic bags and rushed to embrace me. In his arms, I burst into tears. “Luna Megan, your child is safe, and I hope this is the last time something like this happens. You need to rest because you lost a lot of blood.” The doctor continued before leaving while I nodded slowly. Disengaging the hug, N

  • His Rejected Luna Is The Moon Heiress   Chapter 4

MEGAN’S POVThat night felt like a year. All I did was lie on my back, staring at the ceiling blankly. I waited and hoped that Austin would come back to bed, but he didn’t. Instead, my phone chimed, and I quickly picked it up. A video message popped up on my phone, and I quickly opened it. “Hey, Luna. Look, Austin is sleeping so peacefully wrapped in my arms. Don’t mind so much; we’ve always been like this. He just can’t sleep well without being in my arms like a baby.” Kayla’s annoying laughter brought hot tears brimming in my eyes. The sight of my ‘dear’ husband fast asleep in her arms made my heart ache. He left me in the cold and went to sleep in her arms. I’m his Luna, his mate, but he would throw me out without a second thought once it has to do with Kayla. I quickly shut the phone and dropped it on the table, sniffing hard as tears rolled down my cheeks. Another message popped up on my phone; this time it was just a picture. Kayla was dressed in a bikini, kissing Austin’s c
