Chapter 23

Dahlia woke up from a loud knock coming from the room outside. She rubbed her eyes and saw that her laptop had been turned off. She quickly opened the door to find out who the person outside was.

"Good evening, Ms. Dahlia. Mrs. Monte Cristo wants you to come to the dining area." Dahlia was surprised to hear the maid's greeting. It's already late in the morning. She went down immediately and went to the dining area.

"Dahia, my daughter! Please come and join us!" said Mommy Carmela when she saw her. She sat in the chair next to her mother, Lilet.

All of the maids were there and eating. Mr. and Mrs. Monte Cristo were kind and had a massive heart for maids. They considered the maids as their family as well. They used to eat together every night because people in the mansion were busy during breakfast and lunch.
