She has made us proud and today she will make history. Her name is Jedidiah Aaro. Come up to the throne and receive your crown my daughter.” There was a sudden hush in the entire hall. For a second, even I thought I had heard wrong and just stood rooted to my spot, a frown etched in my face, my brows furrowed. Jedidiah? Someone suddenly pushed past me and I almost fell If I hadn't stood my ground, only for me to watch as Jedidiah cat walked towards the throne. Her outfit, unlike the suit I had worn was a skimpy revealing gown with pink stiletto heels. She sat down proudly on the throne and right before my very eyes, my father lifted the crown- MY crown and placed it right on her head. The crowd resumed cheering, but this time it wasn't as cheerful and loud as it was before. Infact, it felt like they were being forced to give the mandatory standing ovation. I was still rooted to my spot, hoping and believing everything was a dream, but it wasn't. My step sister, Jedidiah was sitting on the throne, wearing the crown. Alpha Jedidiah? What a joke.

Chapter 1

Chapter One

1000 years ago...

The war was over. Lives were taken. Peace and tranquillity were replaced by chaos and hopelessness.

He gazed at her and witnessed how, with every second, Death snatched his love, his mate, his queen, away from him into everlasting oblivion. There was no hope. No chance. He couldn't take her to the castle because they both knew that she wouldn't be able to make it.

Thus, they decided to savour those few painful moments of his precious mate's life, here, on the muddied and bloodied forest ground, away from others.

He watched, numb and helpless, as a piece of him was being ripped away from him. No words were spoken yet their eyes expressed volumes.

Her chestnut tresses were a mess, her armour suit caked with blood, and her forest green orbs slowly losing their focus.

Her lips trembled ever so slightly but no words came out. Then it stopped. Her beautiful eyes were now hollow and lifeless.

A lone tear rolled down the Alpha king's cheek as the beast inside him howled for the grave loss of his true love.

He felt an acute pain in his heart as his beloved had left him for eternity, taking away his heart with her.

Soon, more howls resonated in the dark forest, mourning the loss of their Luna queen.

The king of the beasts gazed at her with love and anguish.

"I will always love you."

He whispered, his tone laced with emotions as his grip tightened on her cold frame.

"And...I will avenge your death."

He vowed.

Hi, Penny. I can tell that you have good story lines but edit your books before posting. The story line is contrasting you have a scene play out one way in one chapter and that same scene play out a completely different way in another chapter. There was even a time that there was name changes.

Chapter One
Abigail's pov “I announce to you today the Alpha of Lion heart's pack. The first female Alpha in the history of Alphas. She has shown resilience, strength and… “ As my father's voice faded into the background, along with the cheering noise from the crowd who had all gathered to witness my coronation, I got up, a huge smile on my face. This was it. This was the moment I had waited for all my life. I had worked hard for this. All those years, I had given away my teens to working, training and learning skills just to ensure that today would be my day. The day I was crowned for my efforts. Many times I had given up, gotten tired, wanted to quit, especially seeing as my mates went partying, skipped school and training just to have fun anr I kept opting for more classes and putting my time into training. I worked twice as hard just to meet up with my father's expectation because as perfect as I may sound, I didn't have a wolf. By the age of eleven when my mates began shifting and trans

Chapter Two
it was late at night when I finally decided to look for James. I wanted us to run away together. I had no purpose staying in a pack where even my own family was capable of betraying me. I knew it wouldn't be hard convincing him to run away with me, since he loved me, but I would feel bad that he'd have to leave everything behind, including his position as head of the pack warriors. The moment I approached his room at the quarters, I couldn't explain why I had this tight feeling in my chest, like I was about to witness something that would shatter me. I could feel something wrong with our mate bond, and my heart raced. I hope nothing had happened to James. Worried, scared, I pushed the door to his room, only to be greeted by James, my mate, the love of my life, fucking another girl in his bed. The bed creaked and their moans synced as he thrust hard and fast into her, a thin film of sweat covering his naked back. And that girl was no other than my step sister, Jedidiah. I staggered

Chapter Three
“What's going on?” I approached them. I could feel goosebumps riding across my arm as I did. Something was not right, but I couldn't place my finger exactly where it didn't. My father had a deep rooted blank stare in his eyes as he silently pushed a scroll towards me without a word. I reluctantly took it and after a few seconds of reading the contents, I heard my own heart plumet down; completely down my chest. I felt all the blood in my face drain as I read the contract papers over and over again in my head until I grew sick with fear and disgust. The words seemed to blur before my eyes as my mind struggled to process the magnitude of what I had just read, my thoughts racing. "No." Mustering all the willpower in me, I faced the Alpha, his Luna and the elder council as I said, not even flinching under their hard, cold glares. "I'm not doing It.”“Father you can't do this to me!” “It's already been signed. This was agreed upon by I and the council of elders long ago, even before to

Chapter Four
Daniel's pov She looked scared. I wasn't surprised. I basked off the fear of people around me. I had seen women more beautiful than her, but there was something about her eyes. She looked scared certainly, but there was this resilience in them that matched mine when we locked eyes. As she slowly stripped, hands shaky, a slight blush to her cheeks, I checked out the woman Infront of me. She had full blossoms with peach nipples poking out subtly. Her hips were broad, emerging from a narrowed sensual waist leading down to two strong, straight legs. The moment she was done and her eyes met mine again, I calmly approached her. Not once did she back away from me. Instead she stood her ground, awaiting me. The fear was inevitable but she was trying her best not to let me smell it over her. My wolf growled In approval the moment I touched her, my hand sliding to cup her face just before my eyes met mine, like I was searching.. She's the one. My wolf growled.I could see the confusion in

Chapter Five
Abigail's pov Racing into the nearest room I could find, I fell into a sitting position against the corner of the wall with tears in my eyes. With a heavy heart laden with pain and shame, I buried my face in my hands as I let out the tears which flowed down my cheeks. I was still shaking from the aftermath of his touch, his hands touching in places I haven't been touched before, his lips on my naked skin, his cock brushing against my forbidden area. James and I have been mates for three years but we have only gone as far as kissing. I had been stern about wanting to keep myself till after we officially became mates. Even though he had betrayed me, I still felt so guilty at how I was able to easily respond to the touch of another man. And that man had to be the Lycan himself. His voice, when he mentioned my name sent reverberated chills up my spine. My pussy still ached for his touch, still dripping from the lust. I yearned for him. I couldn't explain why I wanted that beast. But

Abigail's POVIt was at that point that I knew that there was a problem somewhere and all I needed to do was to find a way to abscond. I knew that everyone was going to reject me but this lycan's touched me to the core. A few people might ask what was special about him but I didn't even know. It was almost as though something left my body at his words. He knew better than to insult who was going to be his breeder.I sniffled into my dress and sat on the floor. I was coming from one betrayal to another and all I felt was just luck, I needed to get out of this place as soon as possible. The question was how. If there was one thing that was certain, it was the fact that he would obviously have double security so that I didn't escape. The scent of someone approaching hot me before the footsteps resounded. I had learnt to be observant to make up for the lack of my wolf. I could spot someone who was coming from afar off, so I straightened. My eyes were on the door waiting for the intruder

Chapter Seven
Daniel's POVI watched them stare at me with fear raging in their eyes and I was happy with that. "What were you discussing about!" I asked them and they moved away from each other.Abigail was visibly shaking while my Beta was staring at me with fear. I didn't need him to do my bidding. Funnily enough, it wasn't as if I was thinking about her or had any good plans for her.Her lips quivered while my Beta coughed softly. "I was just telling her her role, sir." He replies fearfully. I didn't wait till he completed his words before growling. They didn't have the right to discuss about me behind my back, if they did, it was certainly because they were trying to stir up strife that would surely backfire on them."Alpha, why don't I go check out the workers at the mine?" Jakes replied. I gave him a curt nod which he responded sharply to. I was sure that he was probably thanking his stars that he was finally free from my clutches. I would make sure that he regretted butting into my issues

Chapter Eight
Daniel's POVWe arrived at the mine and saw that a few people were trying to pour water to douse the fire and I almost tore out my hair in anger. Were they blind not to see where the fire was coming from? I would have expected more from them."Someone should get to the switch and turn it off. move away from the burner!" I yelled and thankfully, the person moved. I was almost screaming that certain people didn't have the kind of sense that I needed from them.It was almost as if they were not thinking straight. After they did as I was instructed, the fire was put out and I shook my head in distaste. After making me run all the way to the end of the mine only to see that it was something that could have been prevented?Jake was breathing laboriously from running for just a short distance and I was a bit pissed if not entirely pissed even. "I'm sorry, Alpha. We would try to salvage the ruins." He replied."Everyone, go home while the top dogs, you know yourself already, don't go anywhere

Chapter Nine
Abigail's POVThere was nothing that prepared me for the way the women were shouting when Daniel returned into the pack. I knew because I peeped from the window and saw most of them even going as far as dancing, making me irritated by their display. Why were they so happy that this tyrant was dragging a man into the pack like a bag of potatoes? This wasn't what was supposed to happen, yet they were this happy? This was very strange and I wasn't even jealous of them one bit. It was mostly irritating to me. I would have preferred if there was something else that they celebrated. It seemed the people were also as ruthless as their Alpha because the joy was second to none. Now I saw the reason people told their kids horrific stories so that they didn't stumble on this place. There was a rap at the door and I moved back to my former position. If I was planning so hard to escape this hellhole, then I had to also be ready to make the sacrifices that it required, which was acting like a fool

Chapter Ten
Abigail's POVIf there was anything that terrified me after Daniel, was that lady. I didn't even know her name but from my first encounter, I knew that she had sinister plans that if I wasn't careful enough, she'd tear my heart out and I would be left with nothing."Mind you, although you've already met her before, it doesn't take away the novelty of the fact that you should be on your very best when you see her. It would be for your good more than it would be for mine." The Beta reminded me. I stomached my preference because I would have preferred if someone else came in here to have that conversation with me. She didn't need to see me the same way, I didn't need to also meet her. It was just mutual stuff, we didn't need to see each other. At this point, I was already suffering but I hadn't come into it fully. "Are you dragging your feet? Go change into that attire." He ordered and I hastily went to change into the ugliest dress that I had seen. Was this what they meant by meeting
