Abigail's POV

It was at that point that I knew that there was a problem somewhere and all I needed to do was to find a way to abscond. I knew that everyone was going to reject me but this lycan's touched me to the core.

A few people might ask what was special about him but I didn't even know. It was almost as though something left my body at his words. He knew better than to insult who was going to be his breeder.

I sniffled into my dress and sat on the floor. I was coming from one betrayal to another and all I felt was just luck, I needed to get out of this place as soon as possible.

The question was how.

If there was one thing that was certain, it was the fact that he would obviously have double security so that I didn't escape.

The scent of someone approaching hot me before the footsteps resounded. I had learnt to be observant to make up for the lack of my wolf. I could spot someone who was coming from afar off, so I straightened.

    Daniel's POV. "I can't find Raine!" Abigail's voice sounded with urgency that had me jumping up from bed and dashing towards the door before remembering that I had no clothes on. "He was here with Mace a few minutes ago but now she's telling me that he is nowhere to be found. I have searched everywhere but now my mind is going haywire. I don't know where he is." This was a mess. My eyes roamed across the room seeking an answer to my questions. "Call Macy, I need to speak with her." I replied and immediately switched to my mind link. This had to be done almost immediately. "Jake, tell me what I hear is not true. How the hell would my son disappear from the public eye when you were supposed to keep him safe?" I inquired angrily. "How far I am completely perplexed about the situation. Although I am already returning, I will send out some scouts so that we can get to the bottom of this issue right now." He reassured me.
