“I cannot believe you have the audacity to show your face in here,” Sharon spat. She was trembling with rage.

Miranda buckled under her gaze filled with pure hatred.

Linda began to speak. “Perhaps I should wheel you back now Miranda?”

She nodded. She couldn’t bear to be persecuted by Sharon right now. She felt too fragile.

“Oh no. Now you’re here I want you to listen to what I have to say.”

Miranda asked Linda to wait, and the nurse reluctantly obliged.

“Are you aware of the catalogue of injuries my son is currently suffering from?”
