Rule 23 : Unexpected trip
I woke up with the system in my watch ringing endlessly, alerting me for a new mission. It did not take a few moments until the speakers above called for me, “Attention. Agent Hira in the airport. ASAP.
I rushed to get ready, not even eating breakfast.
But there was no Mr. Martins who greeted me.
“Surprise!” It was Agent Rush who welcomed me with his usual wide grin. I looked at him, looking at him in disgust. “Uhm, do I have to pretend that I’m surprised? What the hell is all of this, Agent Rush?”
He laughed at my reaction and grabbed me to stop me from leaving,” Secret. I just need you to obey quietly and enjoy my surprise. I prepared it carefully you know.”
I raised my eyebrows, “What’s the occasion? Is it your birthday?”
He smiled sheepishly, “I wish I could say that… but no…It is Wave’s birthday…” He said.
