10. Chapter Ten.

I hadn't felt the sun against my skin in what felt like years. I longed to know how luscious the air's breeze felt. I longed to feel the grass below my feet. I longed to be swayed by natures beauty.

Time had passed and Vince and Catherine were more than remorseful for the way they treated me and I had forgiven them for making me feel like a terrorist.

Just as promised I was made to go outside and I choose to be in prince Salvatore's water garden as the soothing sounds of rushing water and birds chirping calmed me greatly.

After prince Salvatore's and I's meeting two days ago I hadn't manage to see him once more. My body craved to be in his presence while a small part of me was thankful not to see the ruthless vampire again.

I sat at the pond while my legs splattering in the water. One thing was for certain and that was the fact that vampires here seemed to hate my gut as they passed by throwing nothing but unrestrained glares at my direction.
