Stephanie's point of view:

I can't get over what happened a night ago.

Just as we were about to sleep, a knock on the door woke the both of us. We found a box, a closed box.

As the box was opened, both of us were shocked by what we had seen… A gasp ran out of me. As for my mate who was by my side, his first move after the box was opened was to hold me between his arms and to take my face away from the box.

But he was late. I saw what was in the box… And I’m terrified, more than just shocked. I might not be new to the supernatural world, but never in my life has someone sicker than Chris.

In the box, there was Selina’s head, besides a letter written with her blood.

The moment Lucas noticed what was written in the box, his eyes went black before he let out a furious growl, then he started destroying things around – not to mention that he ended up tightening his hold on me as he started sniffing my scent - his hybrid was in control again... I
