LI JIN'S SECRET

The very next day, Li Jin went to work as nothing had happened. He knew that his Qin Qin was going to cancel the contract today but to avoid being suspected he kept calm as if he knew nothing. 

Sharp at 10, Qin Yue appeared with her lawyer and went straight in. The company was in an uproar as she appeared. 

"Was that Qin Yue? Did she really appear or am I seeing things?"

"It really is her, Oh my! She has been no where to been seen for a month. I wonder where she was."

"You are right; she was silent for a month. Sigh. I think she is still not able to accept the fact that she has lost all her previous glory."

"Hey, who is the guy next to her? Seems like to be some lawyer."

"Lawyer? Did she come to cause another trouble?"

Qin Yue was calm towards the uproar; she didn't pay any attention to the bystanders and made her way to Li Jin. Li Jin was a professional, he had already handled everything. He had officially reported the company that Qin Yue had already told him that she was about to terminate her contract and to his surprise the higher ups were quite happy about it. They have agreed to it without a hiccup; Li Jin was furious at the immoral company he was serving. Did they really don't care about her anymore? But he could do nothing else than consoling himself, maybe Qin Yue really did cause a lot of trouble for them that they had agreed to let he go this easily. 

Li Jin didn't mention this to her as he never wished her to know what a jerk her company was, thank God she was leaving them. Qin Yue walked in with a blazing smile as she greeted him. She said, "So, this is it. This is probably my last day at the company, right?" Li Jin could only sigh, "Though I never wished this to happen but yes, you are officially ending it here." Then he passed the documents to her which she signed without a second thought.

He had already received the money from the people of NC, so the matter was solved. The contract was already signed and she was no longer his artist. When he realized this his heart ached, it was undeniable that he was happy to see her happy but the fact that she won't be with him anymore killed him.

She was his so- called love at first sight, the first day when she joined the company only he knew how much effort he had to put to take her charge. He wanted to give her his best, treat her like a queen and eventually make her his. But she never gave him a chance and always treated him professionally; once at a banquet when she was drunk he asked her if she had any feelings for him but she turned it into a joke and cruelly replied that never in this life time could she develop feelings for him. He was hurt but he could only accept the fact and remain silent; she was a drunken mess that night so she never remembered that he asked something and she replied something. But he couldn't give up on her, if possible he would do anything to keep her by his side but he knew that she only viewed him as a friend. He was afraid that his true feelings would drift her far apart from him so he chose to suffer silently than to take away the smile on her face. 

The right way to cherish her was to let her go free; this was the purest kind of love for him. They exchanged few words before he reminded her, "Qin Qin, you can go and sign the new contract at NC by 6 of the evening."

"Jin Ge, thank you for your help. If it weren't for you then I don't know where I would have been now." Qin Yue was truly sincere with her praises. Hearing her say so he forced a smile on his face and replied, "You are the only one who deserves my best efforts."  He was clearly giving her hint like he always did but she was innocent enough to not understand them. Li Jin knew that in this life time he couldn't confess his feelings to her and she remained as his only and the most beautiful secret. 

After the lawyer did his work Qin Yue had no more reason to stick around so she prepared to leave. Most of her fellow artist came to bid her farewell but there were some who were extremely happy about it.
