SHE FELL FOR THE TRAP?

He has successfully convinced her, Mr. Lu will be happy now, right! The two were taking the last sips of their coffee when Qin Yue suddenly remembered something, "Jin Ge, what about the compensation?"

Li Jin came back to his senses, he evaluated, "You still have four years left in this damned company. Each year worth's two million Yuan, so four years sums up to 8 million Yuan!" 

"Eight million Yuan?" she was taken aback. Yes, she was a famous actress but she had no money with her; all her money were used up as a settlement fee for the scandals that she had brought to herself. To be exact, with no job she was completely broke! She bit her lips, where was she going to arrange the money or was she to use up all her savings on it? Li Jin was silent too, he knew that all her savings would drain up by the paying the compensation fee. 

After the chit chat was done they both walked their own way back to their home.

That very evening, Li Jin was squeezing his brain to think about a way when his phone rang. The caller was unidentifiable but he still picked it up. A man greeted, "Manager Li?"

"I am! May I ask who it is?" he answered politely.

"Mr. Li, our boss wants to have a word with you." The man replied before passing his phone to someone.

"Is it done?" a cold voice rang through the other side. Even half asleep he would clearly recognize this voice.

"President Lu!" He immediately greeted and reported, "The job is done, Qin Yue agreed to join the company but…" Before he could complete his voice cut him, "You will get your eight million Yuan tomorrow." 

This man was a God, Li Jin had to admit! He got to the root problem without even him mentioning it. Sir, are you sure you are a human and not a God? He couldn't help but grin, "Thank you, Mr. Lu, for helping Qin Qin. If the matter solves by morning then we can sign the contract by evening."

After ending the call, Li Jin directly called Qin Yue to give her the good news. She was extremely happy about it; though she never admitted it but it was true that she was desperate this time. She tried to be strong all this time but there was not a million- second in these past few days when she secretly prayed the heavens to help her. Maybe her prayers were heard and they have sent NC to save her future which was falling apart just like that.

Getting attention of the officials of NC at this crucial moment was nothing but a boon to her; she viewed NC as her only hope. Even if they were not ready to pay up her compensation she would have did something to settle it. 

But… Was their appearing as a savior at the time when she was at her worst was really…A coincidence?

Inside a private room in 'Retro', the mysterious man was sitting inside all alone. His eyes which were usually cold now had a hint of happiness as he sat there drinking by himself. His moves were casual, every now and then he would raise his glass to take a sip of the liquor in it but yet he looked seductive and eye catching. At that moment another man hurriedly entered the room, he was wearing a red shirt and his hairs seemed messy. 

His looks were par to the man on the sofa but unlike him, he had a demonic charm with a pair of suggestive eyes which were capable of making any woman go crazy. 

"Lu Sheng, what the hell was that? Why did you ask me to come this urgently? I was just about to make a move on that hot babe when you suddenly called me. If this isn't as important as you show it then, I swear, I will curse you to death." He complained as he sat on the single seater next to the sofa.

The mysterious man didn't say a word nor did he give him any particular reaction instead he tossed a document on the table in front him. An Zihao was longed used to him so he picked up the document and went through it. He seemed uninterested at the first two line but when he reached the end he was totally bewildered. He looked at his cousin with a shock, "She…She fell for your trap?" The man revealed a cold smile; An Zihao was taken aback by it because he was holding on a contract which was about Qin Yue joining his cousin's company.
