Chapter 6: Morning After

Samantha wakes up to the sound of birds chirping outside Adam's window. She turns her head and sees Adam sleeping peacefully next to her. Memories of the previous night flood her mind, and she feels a mix of guilt and excitement. She slowly gets out of bed, careful not to wake him up, and quietly dresses.

As she stands by the door, she takes one last look at Adam's bedroom, feeling a pang of sadness. She wishes things could be different, but she knows she can't stay. She walks out of the room and closes the door behind her, tiptoeing down the stairs.

As she reaches the front door, she hears footsteps behind her. She turns around and sees Adam, looking sleepy but happy.

"Leaving so soon?" he asks, smiling.

Samantha feels her cheeks flush with embarrassment. "I didn't want to wake you up," she says, avoiding his gaze.

Adam steps closer to her, looking into her eyes. "Did you have a good time last night?" he asks.

Samantha nods, feeling the warmth of his breath on her face. "Yes, I did,"
