Chapter 21 - Pt 1
Standing in nothing but my pyjama shorts and a loose top, I hop from one foot to the other in front of my cabin at 10:00 pm.
I wonder where the hell Rae is, and why she called me out. She sounded so urgent she had me worried, rubbing my hands up and down my arms I shiver thanks to the frigidly cold weather.
I was just about to head back inside and wait for her on the couch when abruptly a cart pulls over in front of me, and before I even had time to blink large hands latch onto my body and yank me into the vehicle.

Someone lets out a screech of pain when hit and the three of us hurry forward. Everyone started to disperse into the forest and the girls run opposite ways into the darkness, unsure of who to follow I continue forward, especially when I heard another screech of pain. I have no idea how long I ran for, or if I even missed my way, but when it became clear no one was chasing after me I slowed down to catch my breath.Leaning both hands against the rough bark of a tree, I didn’t expect a fireball to miss my head by an inch as it connects to the tree beside me. Jumping back with a scream of fright, I turn around to see the shadow of a figure. They didn’t say anything about using their powers! Once again, I’m projected into my memories, this time with me standing in my parent’s study. Confused, I look around the familiar surroundings and breathed in, my knees almost buckling as the scent of roses assault my nose.
