Chapter 1

Niro's POV

Jarvis yelled, "What the hell, Frances! Why did you drink my matcha drink?" He is looking at Frances, who is giggling on the couch, with his hands on his hips. I merely shook my head at the two. When will these two stop yelling? They really can't live a day without teasing each other.

What an idiot.

Frances teased, "Your matcha tastes terrible. What is that, leaves that have been blended?" Jarvis threw a slipper at him without thinking twice, and it struck him in the face. I pointed my finger at him and started laughing.

He deserved it. Jarvis wouldn't have thrown a slipper at him if he just had remained silent.

"What are you laughing at, Niro? Do you want me to strangle you there until you lose your breath?" He threatened as Frances turned to face me.

I simply grinned and picked up the piece of paper I'd stepped on. I realized that it was Jarvis' reviewer as I skimmed the paper. Why is it strewn about? When it becomes dirty, he will become enraged. Typical Jarvis, sighs. A student nurse who has a bad temper and broke.

I occasionally wonder if he's really Aunt Isabel's son. I raised my head and swiftly inserted the paper into one of his books. I thought that their playful banter was over and it made me merely grimace.

Jarvis exclaimed irritably, "Spit out what you drank! One more time, Frances. You're really getting on my nerves right now." I let out a heavy sigh as I folded my arms over my chest.

I chimed in, "You can get another one, Jarvs. It's like you'll be weak if you don't drink that matcha."

"Wow! Do I have money to buy one? You know that I'm saving up," Jarvis said as he turned to face me. Saving up, my ass. I just smirked. He is really deceiving himself.

"I don't believe so," Frances said with a doubt. And Jarvis gave him a whack on the arm. He stopped talking and organized his scattered belongings on the center table while pouting and sitting down on the floor.

He is the oldest of the two of us, although you wouldn't know it. Despite only being a year older than us, he acts like a kid who is constantly fighting for candy. Jarvis waved Frances' arm away as he approached him from the seat next to him.

Frances called him, "Jarvis." All he did was hum.

"How about this? I'll get you your favorite matcha drink next time. Don't sulk about it. And, I'm sorry." Jarvis' face suddenly brightened and smiled. That didn't escape from my sight.

Sighs. Jarvis receives what he wants. His real weakness is matcha. Therefore, it won't surprise me if someone takes advantage of his vulnerability.

Frances eagerly nodded. "That's a promise, huh? I'll be expecting that." And he made Jarvis give him a high-five.

Yes. That is how they resolve their issue. One meal or drink and the matter is settled. Frances is comparable to Jarvis. In addition, you can use food against him. Actually, they are the same. They might truly be related.

I simply shook my head and got out of the couch. I immediately went to the kitchen to get a drink. My only thought as the water passed down my throat was Savannah wasn't there. He hasn't left the room since a while ago.

After I finished my drink, I gazed at the two at once. They already have their own businesses to do. Frances was using the laptop to play chess. I can see that he is playing the game unfairly from this. While Jarvis was already taking notes.

I abruptly exclaimed, grabbing their attention, "Have you seen Savannah lately? She hasn't left the room yet." I also turned to gaze up at the wall-mounted clock. It is already midday at this point.

I heard the condo unit's door close last night, so as far as I know, she returned home. Perhaps it had already passed midnight. I'm still awake since Frances and I are playing games online. In the meantime, Jarvis dozed out while reading. So, we really tried our best to not make any noise that could make him wake up from his sleep.

"I didn't notice either," Jarvis shrugged.

"What if you knock on his room?" Frances suggested. I bit my lower lip and peered at Savannah's room's door.

I'm afraid. Perhaps as a result of her abrupt pillow thrown at me when the door opened. Or she might suddenly strike me if I woke her up. But, what time is it, though? She hasn't yet left her room.

"You were the one who suggested it, so why didn't you do it?" Jarvis asked bluntly. Frances held his chest and pretended to be surprised.

He even appeared to be crying, saying, "Oh my gosh! I thought we were already okay. Why are you targeting me again?" To be honest, he looks like an idiot.

"Stop. I will knock." I said as I approached Savannah's door to knock. Never once did I forget to breathe. I first need to get ready. We never know what awaits ahead of me. It's better to get ready than never.

I raised my fist and knocked on the door. First three knocks went unanswered. Her name was also called, but nobody answered. But the door unexpectedly opened for the fourth time. In shock, I almost passed out. I noticed that she was adjusting her hair and clothing. Her large polo shirt was unbuttoned, and it was a disaster. I turned my head aside until I heard her speak.

She pouted and replied, "What do you want, Nikolaus Roan? You are interrupting my baby time." She said something that made me gasp.

Oh my God, I think she's already stuffed from all that baby time. It's good that she already had breakfast and lunch, but it's just cuddles. Ew.

But I was aware that he had addressed me by my entire name. I squinted my eyes at her because of this. "You can just call me Niro; you're just complicating things for yourself." She just laughed it off.

She locked the door to her room before exiting and entering the living area. She sat with her knees crossed and her arms crossed over her chest. As I sat next to her, I couldn't help but notice her adorable smile. Wow! You thought she didn't engage in any disgusting activity in her room with her boyfriend.

She asked with a smile, "So, did my babies already eat their breakfast and lunch?"

After setting down his pen, Jarvis removed his glasses. "We just finished our breakfast, but we haven't had lunch yet. In fact, we're waiting for you." Savannah nodded and got up to head straight to the kitchen.

She looked at the ref and asked, "What do you want for lunch?"

Suddenly raising his hand, Frances kept his gaze fixed on the laptop. He hasn't finished his game of chess yet. If I suddenly catch him playing solitaire out of boredom, I won't be shocked.

"Please have steak for lunch," he exclaimed. I abruptly flung the cushion I was sitting on at him. He responded right away, but I just stuck my tongue out on him.

He dramatized, "You're being too much, Niro! Why am I the one who's always hurting in this group?"

Who the hell is having steak for lunch? He's really insane.

"You can just leave here. You're being too dramatic again," Jarvis replied bluntly. The other simply sulked while he continued playing.

She ordered, "Can someone wake my baby up?" We exchanged glances. No way. I'd rather not. We looked at each other, wondering who would wake him up. We gestured at one another while mouthing sentences. Savannah turned to face us after noticing our silence.

Savannah laughed, "Don't worry, he won't bite."

While laughing, Jarvis indicated his neck. He clutched his neck in fear, and the two laughed at him when he said, "I don't think he didn't bite, Savannah."

I merely smiled and shook my head. I went inside the room to wake up Savannah's boyfriend since I knew that neither of them would move because they were already making fun of Savannah. But when I saw the mess in the room, I retreated right away.

I just said, "What the fuck," because of what I witnessed. His two hands were shackled to the bedpost, and his mouth was taped. He sleeps peacefully, yet you can tell he's exhausted.

They seemed to have a great time spending time together, huh?
