It seems like last time, it was just Friday. Time goes by so quickly. Still, I'd like a long weekend. Jarvis was with me, looking at what he was going to get while I scowled and pushed a cart. Even the fact that he was going grocery shopping today wasn't disclosed to me. He convinced me that we would only go to the bakery and buy some bread.

And here I am now, pushing a cart. He was probably mentally laughing at me. My sleep was literally disturbed by him earlier. Why didn't just bother Frances instead? Sometimes his trips are unpredictable.

"What kind of milk brand do you prefer?" Jarvis asked abruptly. I just pointed to the one he has in his right hand. He groaned.

He remarked, "I don't like that. It tastes horrible." I rolled my eyes on him. He will ask me and then he won't like it. He occasionally leaves me baffled.

He is very picky as well. We therefore adhere to his wishes. We appear to be under his control. I simply follow him to the next shelf.. We then came to a stop at the chip aisle.

"Choose whatever you want there. You look ugly when you're pouting," I gasped in disbelief. I don't really like sometimes the words that keep on coming out of his mouth. It's really not possible that he doesn't have a rebuttal either to me or anyone else.

"The audacity to call me unattractive. Don't you want me to call you ugly?" I said proudly.

He just glared at me. "Shut up." I laughed softly. He really doesn't want to lose. He is always competitive, despite his small height.

I just took the chips I wanted and immediately pushed the cart. I was also looking at other products so I didn't notice that Jarvis had also disappeared by my side. Why does he always leave me alone?

He was speaking to a guy when I turned over to the chocolate aisle. Wow, is he dating anyone? However, how is it possible for him to date someone when he doesn't want to in the first place? I just stood back and watched them from a distance.

He was conversing with a tall man. His hair was slightly lengthy and dark brown in color. He was dressed in sweatpants and a simple black shirt. I wonder what they are currently discussing. He has a wide smile on his face. I went up to them because I was bored and wanted to go home.

I cried out, "Jarvis," to him. They both simultaneously turned to face me. Wow, now we have two Jarvis. No one told me about that.

He asked, "Who is he?" And I heard him.

"Is he your boyfriend?" He added. The tone of his voice also made it clear that he was hesitant to ask that question. But who is he in Jarvis' life? His suitor?

I mean, he's good-looking but it looks like he'll just easily fool you in the end. His attractiveness can't be denied, so I won't be surprised if men and women pursue him. He has a broad shoulder and good body physique and even though he is dressed simply, he is already attractive.

But, I'm more handsome compared to him. Why should I lower the genes of the Valerianos?

I heard Jarvis' soft giggles. How flirtatious. I simply rolled my eyes at the two without them noticing. "No! He's my cousin." He nodded and extended his hand.

"Hi, I'm Jeff. And you are?" I accepted his hand and shook hands with him.

"Nikolaus," I said briefly. He and Jarvis talked for a while. I didn't expect him to like red flag men.

Later, he also said goodbye that he was leaving because he still had some errands to take care of. I elbowed Jarvis weakly. It was only then that I noticed that his cheeks were flushed when I looked at him. I winced at his appearance. It sucks to be in love.

"Do you have a crush on him?" I asked curiously. He simply smiled broadly and walked forward. Niro, it's been a pleasure speaking with you.

He was also skipping over to the counter. He hadn't even considered putting the chocolates he had taken earlier inside the pushing cart. I just brushed my hair through my fingers as I ran into him.

I was still teasing Jarvis while scanning our purchases. "So you have a crush on him?" I asked. He closed his eyes tightly and stared at me. "So what? It's just a crush. I can multitask."

Okay. I'll tell Aunt Isabel about this. His son has already begun to flirt. He is no longer Jarvis, whose life motto is "study first." I'm telling you, Jeff, if I find out you're playing with my cousin's feelings, I'll definitely meet you in front of your house.

"Are you sure it's just a crush?" I'm still asking him. He was about to hit me with a cereal box. I recall someone who enjoys cereal, particularly baby cereal. I secretly smiled.

"Don't ask me about that. Don't you have a love life? Oh, by the way, you left that person, which is why your life is so sad," he mumbled. When I turned around, I noticed the woman laughing at what Jarvis said.

"Stop it, Jarvs!" I yelled softly, but all he did was stick out his tongue.

"Why should I be embarrassed? I wasn't the one who left him. It was you." I pinched his side. Please remind me later to tape his mouth because it is so loud.

"I hope Jeff doesn't like you," I joked.

"Hey, foul!"

We weren't done bickering with each other until we got home to the condo unit. He had already pinned me to the side because he was so annoyed with me. We even met Frances with cinnamon rolls in his hand. Where did he get it?

I greeted him and asked, "Did you go to the neighbor's house, you scumbag?" He grinned as he approached us and extended the cinnamon pastries he had brought.

"I met Sir Petrucio in the elevator. I don't want to refuse, guys. Hello? That's food," he said. As soon as we entered, he only spoke. The cinnamon buns he brought are likewise devoured.

We heard an unpleasant sound just as we were ready to enter the living room. Together, we peaked and caught Savannah and her boyfriend making out.

Why the living room with all the options available? When we saw what they did, we were really astounded and speechless. Frances eventually pretended to cough so that they would look up and see us.

Savannah's face was flushed, and I noticed it when she quickly hurled her heels at us. We hurriedly left to the condo and grabbed our slippers as she yelled, "Get out!"

But before I closed the door, I shouted, "Get a room, please! You two are nasty! And we're sorry!"

Just as I closed the door, she screamed in frustration. We didn't do it on purpose. And it's also their fault too. I just facepalmed and looked at the two. They were both still stunned and slowly processing what they really saw. Finally, it wasn't just my eyes that were traumatized. It's true that we really need to find a new place to live. Because maybe that's not all we'll see next time.

It was already night time and they are still discussing the rental. Subtle stares and his persistent glances at me are something Niro and I can't avoid. Do you think I'm gorgeous enough that I can't make you restless, Niro? Niro, please don't be so obvious about the fact that you are staring at me for too long just because you find me attractive. I know we were blessed with good genes. Rome was also looking at Jarvis and the other man next to him, who I still don't know, with a serious and stern expression. While Shun was seated in Shoan's chair's armrest. I couldn't help but pay attention to their soft whispers close to me. They were buzzing earlier, which led you to believe they were bees. I'm not sure if doing that now requires a pair because I have no one to do it. It's so unfair. So I simply stood up from where I was seated and headed for the kitchen. I hadn't spoken to them in a while, so my throat was still dry. I'm just gazing at them and hearing what they're saying. I sensed

  • House for Rent   Chapter 14

Macedonia's POV Though I have tons of schoolwork, this is the first time I feel bored. The start of our class is the day after tomorrow, according to what I also read in our group chat. The quantity of schoolwork they assign to us is making me nauseous. When I bend over, it feels like my spinal cord will do so indefinitely. However, I didn't complete the other activities first because the deadline for passing was still a while away. I'm currently hanging out at Shoan's house once more. I'm lying on the couch as my feet are currently on the armrest of their couch. You genuinely believed that I was the owner of this residence, but I'm just being feel-at-home. And excuse me, they are also treating me like their own child here. Shoan asked as he descended their stairs, "You're here at our house again. Don't you have a home?" I looked at him while cocking my head. I questioned, "Do you two have a LQ? It's odd Shun isn't here." "What the hell are you saying? Don't you dare to change t

  • House for Rent   Chapter 13

Update on our condo unit: Everything is still in place. There was no kitchen fire, except for the sunny side up egg I had been cooking earlier. It's all Frances' fault because the egg I was preparing wouldn't have burned if he hadn't talked to me earlier. And none of the other food I cooked burned. It's still edible and tolerable. Frances hasn't stopped babbling yet, so far. He was still ranting about the one classmate of ours he had loathed from the start. He ended up being his groupmate in one of our group activities. He almost cursed our teacher because they were actually placed in the same group. Regardless, he deserves it. I have no idea why he is mad at our classmate. When Frances sees that person, his nose practically steams up even though he doesn't do anything to him. Why can't he just adjust for himself? Poor man, he has no idea why Frances finds him so irritating. "As they say, the more you hate, the more you love." I said and laughed at him. He made a horrible noise and to

  • House for Rent   Chapter 12

Niro's POVIt's been what, two years? Yes. He barely changed at all. He's only grown more alluring. Because of my silly thoughts, I quietly laughed. Did I just say that he's still stunning and attractive as before? Ugh. That wasn't me. And why are we bringing up his abundant good looks? I simply collapsed onto the couch and shut my eyes. I don't know where I get tired. Am I tired from the trip going home or just from thinking about what just happened earlier? I can't blame him if he reacted that way. Because after leaving him without even saying goodbye properly, I never showed up ever again to him.I did everything my best to keep our paths apart. Considering that I am aware of and can sense that he doesn't want to see me ever again. Even though I'm aware that Frances is also observing my actions, it's good that he doesn't describe me as weird or crazy. But for the time being, I'll just ignore everything else. If Macedonia and I ever cross paths, I'll be the first to avoid him. "I

  • House for Rent   Chapter 11

Shoan's POVWhen Macedonia shut down their gate, we shifted in our places. Did that moron actually leave us here? I merely rolled my eyes and inhaled deeply before turning to face the people in front of us. First of all, I am not the owner of the house they intend to rent, and we are only close friends with the owner's brother. As a result, I am at a loss for words. What else can I say, especially with Niro, Macedonia's ex-boyfriend, here? I'm embarrassed to speak, but what else can I do? After leaving Macedonia without saying a word, where did he get the confidence to show his face? When I recalled what had previously occurred, I breathed. Additionally, for some weeks, Macedonia was dumbfounded because of Niro. He hardly even ate unless Rome and I were invited. When he requested us to go swimming, our anxiety about him became even more. We had to go to our class that day but we didn't attend our class and go with him. In fact, Rome even forced me. Macedonia's pleading truly caused R

  • House for Rent   Chapter 10

From the living room, I could hear the son of another devil screaming, "Doni!" I sighed and slouched out of the room, heading directly towards the living room. I saw that one of my buddies was frowning while the other was grinning broadly. He seemed to be in distress; what happened to him? I pointed at Rome but Shoan didn't say anything. I asked lazily, throwing myself tentatively onto the couch, "Why are the two of you here?" They joined me on the couch and they already felt at home on how they are sitting on the couch. I rolled my eyes inwardly and put my hands in my hoodie. Shoan said excitedly, "Come on, let's stroll around." He was so ecstatic that his eyes had shaped into a straight line and were impossible to see. I replied, "Pass! I don't have any money," and then I just laid down on the couch. It's true that Val hasn't given me an allowance yet, so I don't have any money right now. The teachers in our department took a retreat with other club members, so I haven't been in
