Logan’s POV

I hated the fact that I was the one making her ill. Just one step inside of her room and she couldn’t even handle that. Her face screwed up from the pain and she even lied. Trying to tell us that she was okay.

“Is that what Hallen said?” Freya questions me, her hand remaining tightly gripped on Lana as I retreated.

“Not in as many words, but yes. He isn’t going to stop until he has Lana.”

“I will never agree to it. I will never go with him.”

“I don’t think he will give you a choice, Lana. I know Hallen, I have lived with him for years. He doesn’t just let things go.” Freya tells her. “I think you need to tell Logan the other thing.”

I almost stepped back into the room, hoping that I would catch a whiff of her spicy scent. There was still nothing. Sam’s hand presses against my chest stopping me from entering. We were mates that couldn't even be together.

“Tell me what, what’s happened?” I demand, trying to keep my concern out of my voice.
