Lana’s POV

Logan leans into me, gasping for breath. The Blade slips further into his heart. I couldn’t believe that I had done it. That I was the one to kill him. That I was the one to finally stop him.

Xavier had told Blake that I was in the back of the car. Blake had talked me through the plan. He made it clear that I could not speak back to him. That if I were, it would give me away. That Logan would know.

He told me that they were tracking me, that I would have to take a chance and throw myself from the car. I did exactly what I was told. The moment my feet hit the ground, I run into the forest. Logan had been steps behind me. If he had lunged forward, he probably would have got me. But Blake somehow pulls me away. Lifting my feet off the ground as he placed a hand over my mouth.

He wasn’t alone. I could just make out Xavier and Abby hiding among the trees. Abby's eyes were looking in the direction I had just come from. Her lips moving.

I want to see how this plays out but I’m very disappointed in having Logan and his whole family die. Logan is supposed to be all powerful and people had been keeping things from him his whole life. I want to know why the goddess wouldn’t talk to him when he has a direct line to her.

I have no idea how to feel about all this. :( Irina and her family are gone after I fell in love with them in the first book. I’m having a hard time liking the remaining characters.
