Chapter 49 : We're Under Attack

**Leonardo POV

I told him once before, if he wanted Amber, it would be over my dead body.

"How many wolves does he have with him?" I asked Dylan.

"Uh… his whole army, it seems," Dylan informed, still panting to catch his breath. He took a seat in a chair beside the bed to regain his energy.

As if it was planned, the night exploded with harsh howls in the near distance as my brother's wolves closed in on the compound.

"F*ck him," I spat. I knew about my father's plan to throw me out of the pack, but I didn't expect to be expelled with hostility. I had no interest in staying around my father or brother anymore. It didn't need to come to this, but it seemed like my brother wanted to ruin me, take Amber, and cause as much destruction as possible.

People said I was the bloodhound, but I guess they never met him.

"Leo, it's not good. Most of the Torflora soldiers are already down. August snuck up, took us by surprise," Dylan reported.

"We have to get out of here," I order
