Chapter 19: Mated 

(Freya POV)

I tried to get up from the bed when Emerald left my room. I stumbled a few times before finally reaching the couch. Everything seems so hot and uncomfortable that I wanted to rip the hospital gown off my body. My forehead was covered with sweat and my fingers were shivering like an old person. After a few seconds, My eyes changed color and my fangs elongated a bit. I quickly tear my gown off my body and a sigh of relief escaped my lips when the cool air hit my bare skin but I don’t know if someone will come to this room or not, so I covered my body with the tattered gown. My whole body started aching and a wave of pain made me curl on the couch.

“Ugghh!!! I can't take it anymore,” I grunted while clenching my eyes shut. Many of my childhood scenes started coming in front of my eyes and a sob escaped my lips.
