Chapter one hundred and two

Mia stormed into Alexander's office. Her eyes canned the room, before it landed on Alexander. He was seated on his chair, facing the window.

"Abigail called." She said once she entered the room.

He swiveled in his chair. "Called?" A furrow came between his brows.

"Yes, she called and got it me." She said, as she sat on the chair.

Alexander's brows deepened. "I don't understand. How did she get to you?"

Mia waved her hands in the air. She didn't know how to explain. "It has got something to do with magic."

Alexander stood up at once. "Is Claire with them? Is she okay?"

The look on Mia's face made him stop. He began pacing in the room. "Say something!" The silence was killing him.

A look crossed Mia's face. It was a look of bewilderment. The day before, Alexander had stopped all search for Claire. Why was he so worked up again?

"She…they are in the junction." She said.

Alexander raised a brow at her. She sighed. How was she to tell him? But she did anyway. "Claire isn't with them."
