Claire woke up in a daze. Her eyelids fluttered open trying to remember the reason she was on a bed instead of a stone-cold floor. She felt renewed. All the fatigue left her body. She couldn't remember the last time she felt this way. She took in her surroundings as a wave of memories came tumbling in. She sat up in bed with a start. Thankfully, she was still covered with the bed sheets. She remembered there was one more person in the house with her which made her heart skip a beat. She came down from the bed slowly, her hair framing her little face which came to rest at her waist in a heap of a tangled mess.Surprisingly, her leg felt better. She sat back down on the bed, lifting the bed sheets, and taking a look at her leg.She gasped in shock. There was only a faint red line which indicated what she experienced last night wasn't a dream.Although werewolves healed at a faster rate and she was malnourished. It would have taken a week to get her completely healed. But all that happe

Alexander ran his hand through his hair for the millionth time. He had been feeling on edge lately. Everything little pisses him out. He had no idea why.The full moon just passed. Usually, everyone feels stressed when the full moon is approaching but this time, he felt it in full waves. 'I better go for a run.' He thought. Although he went for a run two days back he didn't know the reason for his grumpy attitude. "You're missing your mate." His wolf, Reon said to him in his head. George could swear his wolf rolled his eyes at him. His wolf has been so whiny about getting their mate and he didn't like it. He wanted a mate, but he had given up the idea of a mate. Most wolves get their mate at the ripe age of eighteen or nineteen. But at twenty-five, he's yet to get his. He had gone to most of the pack in hopes of meeting her there but all were void. Perhaps the moon goddess didn't pair him with one. Bless his luck."Shut up. I.dont.need.a.fucking.mate!" He hissed at his wolf and bl

Claire wandered aimlessly around the house with no destination in mind. She was bored out of her mind. She had been in the house for a week but holed up in it.She wasn't allowed to step foot outside of the house in fear if the rogues notiviny her. So she only stays on the pouch daydreaming about how her life would be.But today, she decided to try out a door. The door is situated at the back of the house. She always notices it but doesn't have the courage to take a look at it. The door always draws her in. Like it recognises its owner. Claire took a deep breath as she stood in front of the door. It's either to go in or Chicken out like she always does. With bated breath, she placed hedoorknob the door knob. She twisted it and out of shock, she realised the door wasn't locked all this while. The door made a squeaking sound as it opened with great difficulty. She looked around her, expecting to see Michael with a disapproving look on his face but there was no one. It wasn't like

Sweat dripped from Claire as she spared Micheal, countering his moves. Micheal's reflexes were top notch regardless of his age.In the past three days since Claire had started to train, she has improved tremendously. She's a fast learner, Micheal thought. He wanted to extend their training to a week but he knew time wasn't on their side so he decided to make it three days.Claire was going to work for someone from the Crescent moon pack. He didn't tell her for fear of her rejection. He knew how feared people were of that pack because of the stories that came from the pack. Especially the alpha who was termed a cold, heartless and brutal alpha especially to rogues or anyone who dares to cross his paths. He stumbled backwards as Claire used her right leg hitting him on his face squarely. He had been lost in thoughts and hadn't seen that coming.Although Claire had gotten stronger by a wide margin, she still wasn't able to land a clean hit if given the opportunity. Blood rushed from

Alpha Alexander sat down on his chair, his beta opposite him babbling away. His mind had gone miles from where he was.He had a dream that morning. But this time, there was a slight difference. He had managed to see her face. But what frustrates him right now, he couldn't remember her face. Everything had turned blurry in his memory. He hated himself for not being able to remember bthe face of his destined. He did remey one thing though, he remembered he was awestruck by her beauty. Never had he seen someone as beautiful as she was."Dummy, you can't even remember the face of our mate. So how are we going to find her?" His wolf asked as he was disappointed with Alexander. "It isn't my fault. It's like something is blocking me from seeing her face. I just can't explain it.""That doesn't exclude the fact that you've forgotten her face." His wolf said, angry. "I hope I'll see her again tonight. I'll make sure to brand every detail of her face into my memory." Alexander said with confi
