Chapter one hundred and one

Claire watched. She could hardly contain her breathing as they came out in rapid breaths. She could not understand what was going on.

She followed the masked man deeper into the forest. More than once, she tried to use her powers but something was blocking her off. And whenever she turned to do so, she felt a searing pain at the base of her neck.

"Stay here. I will be back." The man said, leaving her alone in the middle of nowhere.
