Chapter thirty six

"I haven't gone to the library in a long time. My body feels sore. I need a respite." Claire stretched out her limbs on the bed, a lazy yawn escaping her.

"It's okay, you can go later on. Olivia gave me a day off."

Elise moved into the room, picking up some things that had fallen to the floor. She hummed a song that was unfamiliar to Claire as she went into the closet to get the clothes arranged.

Because Claire had woken up late, she had turned the walk-in closet into a pigsty to get to the training room.

Being at the end of Olivia's wrath was not something she looked forward to each morning.

"I will." She brought up her body from the bed which felt like lead and dragged it across the room.

Wincing in pain from the kick which had been delivered to her side the day before, she looked ready to delve back into the covers of the bed.

Breakfast had been served in her room. She ate it like she was on fire. She had gotten the food into the wrong pathway so she gave up and ran to the training
