Chapter 11

Moments later, my body slowly began to wake when I felt two brief taps on my right lap as I laid on the bed.

"Joshua... What kind of.... Is this" I heard a faint voice from someone standing besides my bed with the figure foggy from my sleepy eyes; I couldn't make out the exact person standing, but I knew for sure that it had to be my mom!.

"Haawwmm" I yawned refreshingly as my blurry vision became clearer to see that it was my mom standing fully dressed for work besides my bed.

'Oh no!...Abigail' my mind raced quickly in fear as I noticed that it was morning already; then i remembered that I had mistakenly slept off naked with abigail lying on my body.

'No no no... Hope she hasn't overslept too' I groaned bitterly under my breath as I thought to myself before swaying my hand over the bed to wake Abigail - but she wasn't there.

"Joshua... are you looking for something?" my mom asked inquisitively in a curious tone as she noticed my worried mood.
