"Joshua... Don't lock yourself indoors all day!... You know all we want is the best for you. This-- you'll get over this... Your mom only did that for your own interest" my dad said quietly in a concerned voice after my mom with his mouth pressed closely to my room door that made his voice echo loudly inside my room. It sounded like he was standing right beside me.

"Interest?!" I yelled out bitterly in response, my voice raised in anger. Then I unburied my head from the floor - lifting it up slowly to speak so my voice wouldn't sound muffled. I needed them to hear every word I had to say.

"If she had my interest, mom would have let Aby stay till she at least delivered the baby.... Your grandchild for heaven's sake" I groaned in frustration, my tone bitter as I replied my dad while sobbing profusely.
