Melissa’s

voice scared me out.

They were

overall my ‘masters.’ I had no right to make any decisions on myself when they

had my life as a sinner who killed my mother.

And Enzo

won’t let me go.

“Who

mind-linked you, let me guess, Melissa? I can tell that you like me, then don’t

bother thinking of what that bitch says.

He grounded

his teeth before continuing, "You are with me now, not the asshole’s

family. I’ll deal with them for you and now if you dare to turn your back on

me, I’ll mark you here."

The more he

spoke, the more worked up he got, and he gradually ignored the distance between

He got down

on one knee and took my hand, his hot breath spraying on my cheek.

"I want

to mark you. I want to make you mine. I want you to bathe in my scene for the

rest of your life. I want you to think of me and long for me all the

time."
