HARLYN’S POV

The full moon nearing continually had wolves acting out of control especially female wolves given the coming transformation coupled with periods.

I wouldn’t really know. Being from an original bloodline apparently meant I could turn at will. So I was failing to properly empathize with Tess.

But that aside, I couldn't tell any valid reason as to why she would strike me, today of all days, this morning of all mornings.

Ethan, Khalid, Abigail, and I had decided to take to the streets this morning to get breakfast outside before the day started and people could witness us around.

The main goal was to oversee some of Ethan’s new guards merging effortlessly into town as residents so we can anticipate any suspicious activities from any corner.

We would meet their leader at some point to receive a report but while we waited, I entered the bathroom and to my unfortunate luck, I bumped into an angry Tess who hit me after our Collision.

“I can smell Ethan on you,” she heaved raspily
