Hazel’s POV

“Took you so long.”

My voice came out calm, almost teasing, even though my heart was hammering against my ribs. Nicholas stood in the doorway like a storm about to break. His eyes were dark, deadly, and locked on Alpha Jackson with pure rage. The air in the abandoned house grew thick and heavy, like the whole room was holding its breath.

Alpha Jackson froze.

For a second, he looked like a man who had just been caught doing something terrible by the person he loved most. His face

  • I Am The Luna Queen    Chapter 142-Finally Over

Nicholas’s POV Alpha Jackson’s body was being carried out of the abandoned house by my men. They moved carefully, wrapping him in dark cloth before lifting him onto a stretcher. I stood there watching, still in shock, my mind struggling to process everything that had just happened. The man who had pretended to love my wife for so long had just confessed his obsession with me…and then taken his own life. I couldn’t move. I couldn’t speak. Marco stepped closer. “Your Majesty…we’ll be sending his body to his pack.” I nodded slowly, my throat tight. “Send for his beta. I need to speak to him.” Marco bowed and left the house quietly, leaving only me and Hazel behind. The silence that followed was heavy. Thick. It pressed down on my chest like a weight I couldn’t shake off. Hazel stood a few feet away, staring at the spot where Jackson’s body had been. Her face was pale, but she looked unharmed. Alive. That was all that mattered. I reached out and took her hand…then started walking,

Hazel’s POV “Took you so long.” My voice came out calm, almost teasing, even though my heart was hammering against my ribs. His face went pale. His body stiffened. Then something twisted in his expression…shock, fear, and a deep, ugly jealousy all mixed together. Nicholas stepped inside, his presence filling the dusty space. His jaw was clenched so tight I could see the muscle jumping. He looked at me tied to the chair, then back at Jackson. The look in his eyes sent a shiver down my spine. He was furious. Not just angry…he was ready to kill. “What the fuck is going on here?” Nicholas asked, his voice rough and low with ba

Hazel’s POV Jackson let go of my chin and stepped back, looking almost proud of himself. “Yes,” he said simply. “It was always me. I tried to get rid of you so many times. But you kept surviving. Like some cursed gift from the Goddess.” I stared at him, seeing him clearly for the first time. The man who had smiled at me. The man who had taken bullets for me. The man everyone thought was in love with me. It had all been a lie. A carefully built mask to hide his real obsession...my husband. My stomach twisted violently. “You’re sick,” I whispered. Jackson tilted his head, smiling that same twisted smile. “Maybe,” he said. “But I’m honest now. And since you’re here…tied up and helpless…maybe it’s finally time to finish what I started.” The tension in the room became suffocating. I could feel my power humming under my skin, ready to explode. But I held it back. Not yet. I needed to hear everything first. Jackson stepped closer again, his eyes gleaming with madness and longing

Hazel’s POV “What are you talking about, Jackson?” I whispered. “I thought you loved me. I thought you wanted to be with me.” Alpha Jackson stared at me for a long second. His face remained strangely calm at first, almost unnaturally so, like he was savoring the moment before tearing everything apart. Then he laughed. The sound started low, then grew louder, filling the dusty abandoned house with something cold and twisted. His shoulders shook as he laughed harder, like I had just told the funniest joke in the world. The echo bounced off the walls, making the entire place feel even more haunted and suffocating. His cold green eyes locked onto mine, and the laughter slowly died on his lips. “You really think I was in love with you?” he asked, his voice dripping with mockery. My heart beat faster. Something kept ringing in the back of my head—a truth I didn’t want to believe. But I pushed forward anyway. “You saved my life, Jackson,” I said, trying to keep my voice steady. “You

  • I Am The Luna Queen    Chapter 138-Help Me

Hazel’s POV I waited until Nicholas’s breathing became deep and steady. He was finally asleep, one arm draped heavily over my waist, his face buried in my neck. For a long moment, I just lay there listening to his heartbeat, feeling the warmth of his body against mine. He looked so peaceful like this. My strong, protective husband. Carefully, I slipped out from under his arm. He stirred slightly but didn’t wake. I held my breath until he settled again, then climbed out of bed as quietly as possible. My body still ached from everything that had happened earlier, but the need to know the truth pushed me forward. I pulled on a pair of shorts and grabbed one of Nicholas’s large shirts, sliding it over my head. It smelled like him…that wild, powerful scent that drove me crazy. I slipped my feet into soft slippers and tiptoed toward the door. The guards outside our room had been dismissed earlier on my orders. No one would see me leave. The hallway was empty and silent. The cold night

  • I Am The Luna Queen    Chapter 137-Counting Down Time

Hazel’s POV I sat on the edge of our bed in nothing but a short silk nightgown that barely reached my thighs. The room was quiet, but my mind was anything but. I kept replaying my conversation with Alpha Jackson over and over again. The way his eyes had changed. The way he grabbed my wrist. The way his voice changed changed when he said “my king". The strange mix of anger and devotion in his eyes when I talked about hurting Nicholas. The sick smile that appeared on his face. Something was wrong with him. I could feel it deep in my gut. He was hiding something big. I was almost sure of it now. Liora couldn’t have done everything alone. Someone must have helped her with those murder attempts on me. And the more I thought about it, the more my suspicion pointed straight at Alpha Jackson. He threw himself in front of bullets for me. He nearly died protecting me. Everyone said he loved me. But when I talked about hurting Nicholas, he got so defensive. Almost possessive. Shouldn’t he
