Standing in front of the driveway, Scarlett studied her reflection through the glass windows of the Third Diamond Hotel. Seeing how professional she appeared to be, she smiled while turning to Kaleb. She said, “Thank you for the clothes.” That day was Scarlett’s interview at the Longhills and Hogans Associates, the best law firm in the city. Scarlett was feeling emotional while staring at the front of the Barnes mansion. She took deep breaths, her feet nearly retreating as her fears take over her. They never believed her side of the story, claiming that Scarlett was jealous of her adopted sister. It was true, though. She really was jealous.
