Chapter 38

The next morning…

I woke up early in the morning and left the house before Christine even woke up. But the previous night I had told her that I was going to leave a little bit earlier. I arrived at the same time with the receptionist, she was pretty much the first one to arrive every day.

“Good morning” I greeted her “wow, you look pretty today”

“Thank you so much sir” she blushed.

I walked past the reception and headed for my office. I sat on my chair thinking about how things were unfolding at this point, and how everything was going my way. I sat in that quiet office being in deep thought and then a call came through the telephone that was in my office.

“Hello” I answered and it was my receptionist.

“Sir, there are men here looking for you”
