Mr Nova's pov
A second later everything came back to me. I was thrown against my team members and fell back. Just another failed test run."I'm alive!" I laughed while still on the floor. The lab had light shining in from a massive hole in the ceiling. The floor was covered in sand and pieces of rubble. The electricity must have caused a lot of damage."Alveera are you okay?" I asked and quickly sat up to scan the room. The other people weren't part of my team. These were strangers. There was a teenage boy, a young woman and a man wearing some bold clothes."What the fuck!" The man shouted and stumbled back."Don't come near me!" The woman hissed in Italian and held up a dagger full of dry blood. Luckily I knew some Italian and could understand what she had said. She was dangerous, I noticed her leg had a stab wound which was the exact width of the dagger. I also saw blood run down her arm from a hole. Perhaps a bull"Okay, kid don't freak out. We all have the same name." I replied after clearing my throat."Don't worry the dagger is for those two, not you," Cuore stated since the boy kept staring at her. She offered him a weak smile and he seemed to calm down."Are they bad?" He whispered to her."I'm not sure." "You do realize we can hear you right." Prince Tay barked. "Also we don't know where we are or how we got here." "I might be able to answer that. Where were you before everything went dark?" I inquired."At a fashion show. How do you know I saw everything turn black before being locked in here with you 3?" The man questioned."It happened to all of us, you idiot," Cuore explained. "New Zealand, like near Māhia." The boy replied and wrapped his arms around his knees."Yes, that's the place the fashion show was located. On this like flat piece of land by a cliff." Prince Tay nodded.
Cuore's povI saw the boy had slipped my dagger into his pocket. At least he would keep it safe. Mr Nova and the Prince pulled me up. My arm hurt more as the bullet was pressed deeper. I felt like I had no energy to even blink. I closed my eyes and let them carry me out. When Taylen touched my hand I felt a sense of peace. The other two seemed so familiar, that is probably due to the fact that they were me. Just male versions I guess. I liked the kid, he was caring and first turned back to help me up when the door opened. I knew I could trust him.Prince Tay was very attractive, he kept staring at me which made me feel uncomfortable. I knew I was plain but he didn't need to stare. Mr Nova looked at me with concern. I knew he feared me, which he should. One wrong move and I will slit his throat. My body kept uncontrollably shaking and I broke out into a cold sweat. I guess my dagger had been covered in some sort of poison when that woman stabbed it into
I woke up in a hospital bed. The soft mattress and blankets were warm against my skin. This time I was actually in a hospital. I slowly sat up and noticed I had a drip in my wrist once again. I looked at my arm, it had a bandage wrapped over where I was shot. I pulled the blanket off, even my thigh was bandaged. I had on a hospital gown and I was clean. I even felt so much better.Someone cleared their throat next to me and I looked in that direction. Mr Nova sat on a chair against the wall. Prince Tay was on another chair while Taylen sat on the floor with his head against that chair. Both of them were asleep. I noticed they too were clean and Prince Tay had changed clothes."We asked to shower. The Prince got those clothes from lost property, which took a lot of convincing for him to change." Mr Nova explained. "Oh. What did the doctor say?" I asked and pulled up the blanket. I only had the gown on."You were malnourished, lost a lot of
Taylen's povMy mouth flew open when I heard how much the Prince had spent on a ring. A ring. An engagement ring. Not even the actual ring. I smiled at Cuore as she took another bite of the food. It was good she was eating. I felt like she was my older sister. We were all so worried when she went in. It legit felt like there was something missing when she wasn't around. Mr Nova was very smart. He was good at telling us what to do and I respected him a lot. He seemed unsure about Cuore at first but when the doctors told us she had been through horrible circumstances, he softened and showed he also cared about her.Prince Tay was annoying. I don't know but the way he stared at Cuore was creepy! It was as if this was the first time he had seen a woman. He also seemed to look down at Mr Nova and me. Well I understood why he looked down at me, I was only 15 but Mr Nova deserved more respect. The hospital had questioned us
"Thank you, sir. Every day the cash will be available for you to collect over the course of 15 days." The owner marvelled and shook Prince Tay's hand. "Every day either one of us will come to collect the money. Pleasure doing business with you." Mr Nova stated and also shook his hand. He had a black briefcase in the other hand then turned around and signalled for us to get up. I helped Cuore up and Tay held the door open for us to leave. "He agreed to pay us 50K in cash every day for the ring. Since neither of us has identification documents to open a bank account yet." Mr Nova told us as we walked towards the car."I had a friend once who remained unregistered as a child. When she applied for her ID, she first had to get a birth certificate. I guess I could do the same, and claim I don't know who my parents are." I offered."Kid you are only 15, that won't give us access to a lot of things." He replied."I'll appl
Prince Tay's povEver since I had first seen her I was memorised. She held up a dagger while her precious blood dropped onto the floor. It was something I had never felt before. There was this urge to be close to her, to never leave her side... I was going crazy. My whole life I wanted to meet the female version of myself... to feel normal for liking another human. When Mr Nova claimed we were all the same person it made sense. She was me. She was the person I had been wishing for my whole life. She had beautiful black hair and these amazing brown eyes. She was absolutely beautiful, far more than when Isla walked onto that stage. Even when she was thin, pale and bent over to throw up. I was flooded with this immense level of worry for her. It was like every atom of my being screamed to go towards her, to help ease her pain. I just stared in her direction and kept myself back. I was afraid. This feeling terrified me and my body was cold fro
It was around 16:21 when Taylen and I decided to go wait by the benches near the food court. Mr Nova and Cuore were still not back. "Here you go," Taylen stated and handed me ice cream. "Oh, uh... I don't eat that." I replied.Taylen shrugged, "More for me." I watched the people around us. Everyone seemed to be so friendly. Maybe this world was at peace. "So Prince huh. What's that like?" Taylen asked with ice cream all over his lips."I had a perfect life. My father is... was the King of Jordan. I had servants that would do what I say without hesitation. I was loved by so many fans.""Not true.""What?" I asked confused."Your fans didn't love you. Well, not real love in any case.""How do you know what real love is?""I don't." He replied and started eating the ice cream cone. "I would imagine it to be more of a close relationship. I guess." "What about you?
Mr Nova's povThere were so many similar things about us. The way we walked was identical, even the pace and irregular timing of our steps. Cuore just added a feminine touch to it. We all gestured while talking and even had the same posture. It made me feel uncomfortable when I noticed how alike we all are. I felt happy when our likes or personalities differed. We agreed on a lot of things and all seemed to think of the same response to a situation. When one of us left, there was this sense of displacement. It was as if the other was a part of our soul. I cared about each one of them but I just wished it wasn't so difficult to be away from them. How will we cope once we all go back to our own worlds? The thought of another version in this dimension was always at the back of my mind. That was a problem for another day. The others always turned to me for explanations of this parallel situation, I knew as much as them. This was a new discovery
