WINNY

Alpha Sean, Grace, Elias, and I arrived in a place called Dubai in the chopper about four hours after the flight started. The humans were no joke. Seeing everything my eyes set on made me conclude humans were much more fun and intuitive.

Since I was born, I’ve never seen anything as beautiful or a population this large. According to Grace, some of our kind live here and mix with the humans. They looked just like us.

Instead of venturing into the hotel’s restaurant, which might take too much effort, we ordered room service and settled in our separate villa. Alpha Sean had this all planned out. I had the feeling he’s been here more than once.

Grace and Elias shared a villa opposite ours. He didn't just wake up and decide we are going on vacation; he'd planned it all last night. The same night we both almost died, the same night he killed someone I used to consider my best friend. Even after he, too, was injured from yesterday’s attack. Being here makes it feel like the attack ha

WINNY.“I can’t help it!” I said to my wolf. I was alone in the bathroom. Alpha Sean was somewhere in the villa, enjoying the view, or probably still working on his phone or laptop. “If you keep doing this, you may hurt yourself or hurt him in the process,” my wolf snapped. I nodded at myself in the mirror. “I’d rather let the hurt come than stay in the dark. His parents, family…how he killed his brother. I’m beginning to think Mark wasn’t born this way; he was probably made this way.“So, what are we starting with today?” I asked cheerfully, drying my hair with a dry towel after taking a quick bath. I’m still shy about being almost naked in his presence. He wasn’t really looking anyway. He sat on the study chair, his hands on the table and his eyes fixed on his phone. “I have a list made out, but.” He locked his phone and turned to me. “I know I told you this is a vacation, but I’ve also come this far to meet some of the wolves in this part of the world and strike an important deal

WINNY.The rays of sunlight burned through the open curtain on my skin. I woke up from the impact. After shifting away from the sunlight, I bumped into Alpha Sean. He was still asleep, like a breastfed baby. He smiled and pulled me closer to himself. His lips met mine before curving into a smile. His eyes slowly opened, shining more golden than I have seen in a long time. It was paradise. The calm silence and heavy gaze made my heart butterflies.I sucked in a huge breath. “Good morning, Moonshine. How are you feeling?” He pulled me tighter, staring into my soul through my eyes. I couldn't help but smile and try to hide myself. He laughed and kissed me lightly. “Don’t tell me you have grown shy now.”I bit my lips and looked away. He laughed. His fingers rubbed my chin and turned my face to his. He raised a questioning brow.“You are just too beautiful for me to watch for free,” I murmured. “I can’t afford to lose you.”He rubbed his nose with mine, then slid his hand to cup my but

SEANOnce I was sure the girl’s heart was lying lifeless beside her dead body, I turned to Winny, but she was already passed out. At least, that’s what I hoped. Hwrbeyes were shut. No movement. When I heard her breathing, I took a long breath of relief before going closer. Her body shifted back into her human form on its own. I shifted too and looked around to see if I could find something to stop the bleeding on her neck. Unlike me, she had shifted with her clothes, and now that she shifted back, she still had her clothes on. It's a mystery I still have to uncover. I watched her shift without contact with the moon…at such a critical moment. She could have died.Seeing her right now, so beautiful, made me remember that I haven't seen her wolf most of the time. She was about my size and almost stronger, cloaked in shiny silver fur that glowed in contact with light. The electric light had bounced back off her mane like they were scared to touch her. Though I was naked, I wrapped my tor

WINNYI woke up with a heavy migraine on my left side, then opened my eyes lazily. The first thing I saw was a dim orange light. Using my palm, I shaded the light from my eyes, then realised I was tied up. My energy returned, and my eyes snapped open. I was surrounded by the smell of old, crusty soil and the fine, refreshing sound of a river nearby. This could be anywhere, but certainly but my house. My head still hurts badly. After taking a good look, I figured it was a warehouse or a slaughterhouse. Nothing good. After inspecting my surroundings, I realised I was on the ground, taped everywhere, including my mouth. Should I be frightened or laugh this out because it was funny? Whoever did this has no idea what they are doing.“Oh, Princess, you’re awake,” a familiar female voice crept into my ears. Even though I couldn’t see who it was, I would recognise that voice even in full darkness.I wanted to speak, but I couldn't. There was a silver knife that looked oddly fake, but it coul

SEANIt's been seven hours since Winny left the house, and I still can’t reach her. I called everyone I could: Winny herself, Alex, Grace, and even Lucas. Lucas was the only one who answered his phone, and he came running to my house when he heard that Winny was missing. Apparently, he still had something for her, and now is the time to put that obsession into use.“How the hell don’t you know where she went and you let her out of the house?” Lucas yelled at me.I glared at him. “Lucas. It’s either you leave or you help. If you are gonna stand there all day and yell, then you can as well go back to your house. I don't need your help.”“You know you do. I’ll go around the pack and get words out to the Territory. I’ll start a search party if I must.” I nodded, and he disappeared. I was back to thinking through a million possibilities of where she could be to not pick up her phone. She said she would be with Grace, and neither of them was picking up their damn phone. Lucas may not be up
