“What do you mean your cellphone was with Nida?” Tyron asked in wonder.
“Didn’t you order them to take my cellphone because you don’t want me to use it?” she answered the young man sadly.
“Tyron, I think she’s hallucinating again. You should probably not let her go from the hospital.” Emily clung to Tyron’s arm worriedly and looked scared again.
Tyron removed Emily’s hand and moved toward Jesabell worriedly. It was his fault if the girl’s illness worsened because he left her. “Jesabell, come here. You should eat first so that you could feel better, then take your medicine.”
Emily looked at Jesabell annoyingly because Tyron’s heart softened quickly for her. Again, she stepped away from the young man. “No, I’m not crazy if that’s what you’re thinking. Is it bad for me to take my cellphone?” she asked the young man sadly again.
“Jesabell, why are you looking for your cellphone from Nida? It’s just in your room, and we didn’t take it from you.” Emily talked to the girl gently.
“Señorita Emily is right, I don’t have your cellphone. If you want, I’ll get it to your room,” Nida suggested kindly.
“Just go and give it to her,” Tyron ordered the assistant.
“No need.” Jesabell restrained the maid.
“Jesabell, don’t torture Tyron anymore. Nida will get your cellphone so you will be relieved,” Emily said, pretending to be concerned.
“Thank you for the concern, but don’t tire the assistant. Just let me borrow your cellphone, and I’ll call my own number.” She extended her open palm in front of Nida.
Nida suddenly hesitated to lend her cellphone to Jesabell. She has a strong hunch that she has a bad plan, especially since she was calm.
“Why can’t you lend me your cellphone? Are you afraid that my cellphone might ring in your room?” Jesabell’s sarcastic question to the assistant.
“Jesabell, why are you like that to Nida? I know you don’t like her because you think of her as my ally. But it’s still not right for you to accuse her of being a thief,” Emily scolded Jesabell.
“Did I say she stole it?” Jesabell’s sarcastic response.
Emily fell silent. She was annoyed by herself, and she might have oversaid it just to make Jesabell’s behavior look bad.
“Let me call your number to end this matter.” Tyron seemed to be upset.
Emily smiled as she met Jesabell’s gaze. She indicates to the woman that it will just look crazy in Tyron’s eyes. But her sweet smile turned bitter when a meaningful smile was plastered on her lips. Even with her eyes, they seem to be dancing out of joy. Suddenly, she looked at Nida’s apron. She wanted to stop Tyron, but it was too late.
Nida seemed to be bitten by a snake when a cellphone rang on her apron. She took a step back when the young boss looked at her. For God’s sake, she didn’t know whether she should pull out the cellphone and pretend she heard nothing or just think of an alibi.
Emily quickly approached Nida and held her by the hand. “Nida, I thought you already returned Jesabell’s cellphone?” she scolded the assistant.
“So sorry, Señorita. I forgot she gave it to me earlier and told me to hold it.” Nida’s nervous response to Emily avoids looking at Tyron.
Jesabell restrained herself from being irritated because the two were able to find an alibi. Well, she saw her cellphone in her room earlier, and she heard Emily’s command to the assistant. Then, she was able to put her own phone in Nida’s left apron earlier to backfire the villains plan.
It was Emily who took the cellphone that was in Nida’s apron and faced her rival. “Jesabell, be patient with Nida; she’s becoming forgetful. Here’s your phone.”
Jesabell sneered and looked at Emily’s hand. She took the cellphone and gave it back to Nida while smiling. “Since you have changed its password, so take it; it’s yours.”
Nida was shocked and embarrassed as she bowed her head. She didn’t know what to do next.
“Jesabell, what are you doing? That’s your favorite phone,” Tyron said to the girl.
Jesabell held her bitter smile to form on her lips. The young man didn’t even wonder why her phone was with Nida. She sighed slowly before smiling at the young man. “Not anymore. Besides, I don’t need that because no important person will call there.”
She quickly turned away, went up the stairs, and returned to her room. To avoid the tear from falling from her eyes, she blinked. It is true that the cellphone, which Tyron himself bought for her, wasn’t important anymore. Ever since the young man ignored her call that night, the contacts in her cellphone were worthless. She memorized Jason’s phone number if she needs to contact him. The friend also knew that she had no cellphone, so he would not call anymore in there.
Upon entering the room, Jesabell just released the tears that had been hanging in the side of her eyes. She thought she had no more bitterness, sadness, and heartache in the thought that she was no longer worthy in Tyron’s life. When she heard the footsteps approaching her room, she rushed to the bathroom. She didn’t want anyone to see her crying.
Tyron sighed when he saw Jesabell enter the bathroom. He followed and knocked on the bathroom door. “If you don’t want this cellphone, I’ll replace it with a new brand iPhone.”
Jesabell’s heart was only pounding in anger when she heard what the young man said. “No need,” she responded coldly and washed her face to remove the trace of tears from her eyes.
“Look, I know you’re upset when I ignored your call that night. It won’t happen again, so don’t change your number,” Tyron said calmly and tried to comfort the girl.
Jesabell chose not to answer the young man. Her lips were pressed tightly, and her fist was clenched. She was angry with herself because her heart was softened by the young man’s comfort. Her anger should prevail in her heart so that she could be free from this cage she has been imprisoned in now.
“Remember, you are no longer his priority, and he has no trust in you. He can abandon you any time for Emily!” She talked to herself as she stared in the mirror.
Slowly, a genuine smile on her lips plastered. She nodded several times as she stared at her own reflection. “Right, from now on I’m alone. I’m here to retaliate with that bitch!” Jesabell whispered to herself before taking a shower.
Her weight dropped because she didn’t eat well when she was in the hospital. Realizing her face suddenly grew old made her angrier. She should not neglect herself. It is fine to be defeated and broken. In physical appearance at least, she could recover. She took a few minutes and fixed herself. When she was sure she was fresh again, she decided to leave the room. Whether she likes it or not, she has to act properly and nicely. The main goal is to be free from Tyron, and she will begin by being kind to him. Meanwhile, she will play with Emily’s tricks.
When Janina was sure that Timothy had left, she had just left the window where she could see the front of the building. As she approached the small altar, she stared at her son's picture. She tightly closed her eyes, and her tears ran to her cheeks again."Baby, I'm about to take revenge!" Janina spoke to the picture as her tears continued to flow. She could not be quiet even when she had a better life now with the kid who gave her another hope a few years ago.Janina's lips pressed tightly, and she clenched her fist when she remembered what had happened at the hospital. She didn't know why, but she was suddenly transferred to the operating room from the emergency room. All she knew was that she could give birth to the child normally, but the doctor insisted that she had to have a cesarean section. She even lost consciousness, and when she was awake, the hospital staff declared that her baby was in the incubator. She even caught her baby alive, but she could not approach him and could
"Thanks for the drive. I will not invite you inside because the house I rented is a bit messy since I haven't had enough time to clean." Janina shyly thanked the man when the car stopped in front of the building where her pad was.Timothy looked at the building with ten stories. Nor is it far from Tyron's company. "Are you safe in this place?" he asked the woman absentmindedly.Janina smiled. She was happy for Timothy's concern for her."Mommy, I'll help you clean up," Trix suggested, and he still wants to be with the woman.Janina smiled and looked at the boy sitting in the back seat of the car, next to his aunt. "Thanks, but I can manage it. Next time, I'll invite you to my house, and I'll cook you what you want.""Is it just Trix?" Minche asked, sounding resentful.Janina scratched her nape. "If it doesn't bother you, then you can come along too."Timothy got out of the car and opened the door for the woman. Before she came down, he let his son kiss Janina's cheek. It was as if he
"What's wrong? Why does my handsome nephew look so angry?" Minche asked and hurried to her nephew.Jona was forced to stand and give Minche a way to comfort Trix. Looking back at her, the woman she hated was there because she was trying to have a role in her son's life.Minche sighed when the boy refused to lift his head and just kept hugging his father. She darted a bad look at Jona and was sure she was the culprit."Trix, son, come to Mommy, and let's open your toy," Jona said to the child sweetly. One corner of Janina's lips rose when the boy did not shake and just kept hugging his father. She is happy, and Jona's relationship with the child is not good. She wanted to annoy Jona, so she interrupted. "Trix, I baked cookies; want to try them?"Trix quickly raised his gaze when he heard Janina's voice. Seeing the tray she was carrying, he excitedly approached the woman.Jona felt her chest explode in anger when she saw her son, who looked so happy and wrapped his arms around the woman
Jona stomped her feet when Timothy and the rest left her in the living room, alone. She went up the stairs and followed Trix with the assistant in his room to change clothes. She was annoyed by the fact that the room she was occupying was the same room she used when she was married to Timothy. When others find out the setup between her and Timothy, then they will feel pity for her or laugh at her.She changed her mind; instead of going to follow the child, she went into her room first. It was tidy, and there was no trace that she had stayed in this house. The pictures she had left behind were no longer there, or at least some of her belongings. She quickly changed her clothes—short-short jeans and a hanging blouse. Then she took the toy she had bought for Trix before coming out.Trix was stuck on the stairs when he saw his mother approaching him."Son, look what I've got for you."Trix stared at the large box that his mother held. "There's no space for toys in my playroom. Besides, I'
Janina carried her gaze around when they got out of the car. Trix immediately held her hand. The house is large, and the garden near the pool is wide. "That girl is really lucky, and she had the chance to live in this place!" she whispered to herself, referring to Jona."Mommy, let's go!" Trix excitedly invited the woman inside."Trix, slow down; maybe Ms. Janina will hurt," Timothy scolded the child. She looked and smiled at Timothy, her look telling him that she's fine. As they entered the door, she was impressed by the beautiful ambiance of the house. She glanced at the boy when he suddenly let go of her hand."Aunt Minche!" Trix eagerly ran to the kitchen door when he saw the lady.Janina glanced at the woman who had embraced Trix. When she looked at her, she smiled thriftily and slightly stooped in greeting. "Hello."Minche smiled and took her nephew as they approached the girl. "I guess you're Trix's new mommy, aren't you?" she asked the girl.Janina shyly smiled at the lady. It
A corner of Janina's lips rose, and her look sharpened as she was still hugging Trix. "It's time to charge your debts. I will make you experience how a loved one is taken away and how to lose someone dearest to you!" Janina whispered to herself. She knew Jona's source of life was Timothy, but she didn't love the son of her own. Her cousin has been so selfish since then. One thing that makes her wonder is how Timothy got her pregnant so she became the man's wife. She knew that Jona would not recognize her because so much had changed in her appearance."Mommy, I want to eat outside," Trix told the girl."Are you inviting me to eat outside?" she jokingly asked the boy and rubbed him on the cheek."No, Daddy will invite you!"Timothy was shocked when he heard his son's answer to Janina's question. He just arrived, and he caught that scene."Isn't it, Daddy?" Trix asked his father at the door.Janina looked up at the door, and Timothy was there. Suddenly, she was embarrassed, and he might
